ONLINE-ONLY BIDDING INFO

Lot # 0

This is an Online Only "Timed Auction" with a "soft closing" and the only way to bid is through ProxiBid. When lot #1 goes "Live" at 10:00am CST there will be a 60 second...more time clock that will reset every time a new bid is placed, once there has been no bids for a full 60 seconds that lot will close. TWO NEW LOTS WILL GO "LIVE" EVERY 60 SECONDS, the software WILL NOT WAIT until one lot has closed before starting the 60 second time clock on the next lots. THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE LOTS SELLING AT THE SAME TIME throughout the day. The best way to participate is to leave "Max Bids" and let the software do the bidding for you. ProxiBid software executes the max bids, NOT THE AUCTION COMPANY, and will only bid for you up to your Max Bid price, if needed. For Example, if you leave a Max Bid on an item for $800 and that item only gets bid up to $400, you only pay $400. If you want to raise your "Max Bid", the software will not let you raise your current bid. This software is designed to work for you, not against you. It simply executes your bids competitively, just as if you were bidding yourself. Also note that "Live Bidding" problems can happen. For example, a slow internet connection or multiple people trying to bid at once can affect the speed at which you are viewing the auction and an item may sell before you are able to bid. So, once again, if you have not left Max Bids as a backup, you could miss out.

1989 Browning, Citori Lightning, 28 Ga., Over/ Under (W/ Box & Case), SN- 16065PN773

Lot # 2

The Browning Citori was introduced in 1973 as an alternative to the highly successful Browning Superposed. The Citori is known for its "mechanical excellence" and deluxe ...moregrade features. It has become a must have for serious sportsmen around the world. The Citori Lightning Grade sports a rounded pistol grip that offers a more open grip than full pistol grip designs. Many shooters feel this gives a slight speed-to-shoulder advantage. It represents a midpoint in design between ultra-speedy straight grips and extremely stable full pistol grips. It offers excellent control for whatever you are after - fast-flying waterfowl, upland game or just shooting fun. Matching the rounded pistol grip is the forearm. It is nicely rounded at the fore-end, and together they give the name to this over under gun as "Lightning Style". This Citori Lightning Field was made in 1989 and features a checkered walnut stock with high gloss finish and fluted comb, engraved receiver with high luster bluing, gold plated trigger, 28" F/M barrels, serrated vent rib with silver front bead, tang safety/ barrel selector, black buttpad, 14.25" LOP and 2 3/4" chamber. This gun comes in original box with paperwork and Browning brown leather luggage case. This gun is in beautiful condition with very light wear, has a nice tight action and appears to be in good working order. Gerald H. Miller Estate

1940 WWII Japanese, Nambu Type 14, 8×22mm, Semi-Auto (W/ Holster & Magazines), SN - 82238

Lot # 11

The Nambu is a series of recoil operated, locked breech, slanted grip, semi-automatic pistols first produced in 1904 by the Japanese Koishikawa Arsenal. The series has th...moreree variants, the Type A, the Type B (also known as the Baby Nambu), and the Type 14. The Nambu pistols were designed to replace Japan's earlier service pistol, the Type 26 revolver. The Type 14 Nambu is chambered for the 8×22mm cartridge and gets its name from the year it was produced - the 14th year of the Taisho era, or 1926, and were used mostly by officers who had to pay for their pistols themselves. From 1927, it was a standard issue sidearm for officers and used through WWII. It is believed that around 400,000 Type 14 Nambus were produced, but the exact number is unknown, as Japanese soldiers considered their weapons property of the emperor, and many chose to destroy their pistols or throw them into the ocean to avoid them falling into enemy hands. According to the markings and serial number on this pistol, it was made at the Kokubunji factory of Nambu/Chuo Kogyo in 1940. The characters on the right side/ rear frame designates the reign of the Showa Emperor (Hirohito) and the date 15.8, indicating the fifteenth year, eight month of Hirohito’s reign (August, 1940). This gun appears to be original with a 4.61" barrel, wooden slant ribbed grips and comes with period correct brown leather holster & (2) magazines. This gun is in nice condition with very light wear, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. Gerald H. Miller Estate

1942 WWII German Walther, P38, 9mm Luger, Semi-Auto (W/ Holster), SN - 8261e

Lot # 13

The P38 is a 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol that was developed by Carl Walther GmbH as the service pistol of the German Army at the beginning of World War II. The P.38 w...moreas a groundbreaking semi-automatic pistol design which introduced technical features still used today in current commercial and military semi-automatic pistols. It was the first locked-breech pistol to use a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger. The P38 also introduced a visible and tactile loaded chamber indicator in the form of a metal rod that protrudes from the rear of the slide when a round is chambered. The Walther P.38 was in production from 1939 to 1945. During WWII, the P.38 was produced by three separate manufacturers: Walther, Mauser, and Spreewerk. To conceal manufacturer identities, each wartime manufacturer used a letter code: ac (Walther); byf (Mauser), and cyq (Spreewerk). This P.38 is marked "ac" (Walther), "42" (1944) along with German/ Nazi proof marks. Features include a 4.9" barrel, ribbed Bakelite grips with lanyard ring, 8-round magazine and comes with original black leather holster dated 1942 "dkk 42" & Nazi proofed. 1915 Winchester, Model 1894 Rifle, 38-55 WCF, Lever-Action, SN - 814829

Lot # 14

The Winchester Model 1894, or Model 94, is a lever-action repeating rifle & carbine that became one of the most famous and popular hunting rifles of all time. It was desi...moregned by John Browning in 1894 and originally chambered to fire two metallic black powder cartridges, the .32-40 Winchester and .38-55 Winchester. It was an almost instant success for Winchester. Its lightweight, compact design paired with the power packing punch quickly made it popular among hunters. Its success was pushed even further during World War I after the U.S. Army signed an order for 1,800 rifles to members of the Signal Corps stationed in the Pacific Northwest. The Winchester Model 1894 went to war again during World War II, this time in the hands of the Canadian Pacific Coast Rangers guarding against Japanese invasion along the West coast of Canada. One of the best-selling lever action rifles in American history, the Winchester Model 1894 hit the one million mark in 1927. This Winchester Model 1894 Rifle was made in 1915, and sports a smooth walnut stock with straight grip, crescent metal buttplate, 26" octagon barrel, adjustable elevator rear sight, dovetailed front sight and full length magazine tube. 1892 Winchester, Model 1885 Low Wall, 22 Short, Falling Block, SN - 56463

Lot # 16

With the introduction of the Model 1885, the world of single shots was given a welcomed addition. In 1885 competitive target shooting in America had the stature of profes...moresional golf, or even major league football has today. Huge matches were held at places like Creedmoor, New York. Spectators would number in the thousands. The 1885 was uniquely suited to the long-range accuracy shooting of the day. The Model 1885 was the first and perhaps one of the greatest of all the John Moses Browning designs. It was conceived of and created by Browning in the frontier pioneer town of Ogden, Utah, in 1878. Not only was it the first he produced, but it was the gun that started his relationship with the Winchester Repeating Arms company. The partnership began in 1885, and the Single Shot became the Model 1885 Winchester. Two popular models were made, the so-called "Low Wall" which showed an exposed hammer, firing less powerful cartridges, and the so-called "High Wall" for stronger cartridges whose steel frame covered most of the firing hammer when viewed from the side. This Winchester Model 1885 "Low Wall" was made in 1892 and is chambered for the 22 Short only cartridge. Features include a smooth walnut stock with straight grip & Schnabel tip, metal crescent buttplate, 24.25" octagon barrel, adjustable elevator buckhorn rear sight and dovetailed front sight. This gun is showing age, but appears to be original, has a nice tight action, retains a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. Gerald H. Miller Estate

1917 Winchester, Model 1885 Low Wall, 22 LR, Falling Block, SN - 120065

Lot # 18

This Winchester Model 1885 "Low Wall" was made in 1917 and features a smooth walnut stock with straight grip & ebony Schnabel tip, metal crescent buttplate, 24.25" octagon barrel, adjustable elevator rear sight and dovetailed front sight. This gun is in good condition with bluing fade, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. Gerald H. Miller Estate
