Exterior is tastefully completed in Red, White, Blue and polished up really nicely at the last annual Overall Exterior 6/10. Make it your Cub and rebuild it to your specs or use it as a parts machine for future needs. There are a few logbooks for this airframe. We do have the Data Plate but NO Airworthiness Certificate (that we have found). Project located at (M19) Newport Arkansas Municipal. Nice, proper J3 Cub that was rebuilt in 2007 by Russ Amos. Metal Spars, Steel parts epoxy primed, covered in AirTech Fabric, New front and rear lift struts and forks installed, new windows all the way around, new boot cowl and eyebrows .. rebuilt from bottom to top and shows well. Engine was Overhauled 2002 to new limits. No frills true stick & rudder flying at its best with this 1946 Piper classic J3 cub. Logbooks are "marginal" prior to rebuild and "sparse" after rebuild but there are some logbooks here. Current title search has been completed and shows no liens or encumbrances. Current annual date of 6/6/2022. Airplane is located at Newport Municipal Airport (M19). Contact Grady Auctions at (870) 523-5229 to schedule a inspection and review of the logbooks. Aircraft was ferried from Batesville Arkansas to Newport Arkansas on 3/20/2022. We were going to paint the instrument panel before we took the pictures but have decided the airplane just as it is.

Vanduzen Cupola Bell
This is truly a one-of-a-kind find. From the E.W. Vanduzen Company out of Cincinnati cast by the Buckeye Bell Foundry in approximately 1899, this bell sounds amazing and has one of the longest ring tones I have heard. Approximately 26" Mouth, Cast Iron clapper, Rotary Yoke (original), Frame (1 side original - 1 side current manufacture). The Buckey Bell Foundry had their own proprietary blend of products they used to manufacture these bells, when polished the bell comes to a bright gold finish. This is not some little "thin" bell. The Lip and Sound Bowl on this bell are unbelievably thick and you can tell the craftsmanship that was put into this bell.
