This 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40 underwent a meticulous nut-and-bolt restoration in 2000 using reconditioned original and OEM parts. It is powered by a 257.9ci straight 6-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain. It features factory rear ambulance doors rear jump seats full instrumentation and a correct console. It has 55710 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and is finished in a custom color combination of bronze exterior beige roof and matching custom interior and rides on custom wheels.

1966 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA CUSTOM COUPE

This 1966 Barracuda nicknamed The Gasser Passer is a fully documented custom-built Plymouth Barracuda changed into a gasser-style rod. It has been rotisserie restored with several body and frame modifications to incorporate the power and capability of a performance Chrysler engine. It has been driven less than 250 miles since its completion in 2009 and has been entered in several local shows. It is powered by a 440ci RB big-block engine with an overbore mated to a 4-speed manual transmission obtained from a 1970 HEMI ?Cuda. It has a competition clutch Hurst linkage and a narrowed 8-3/4? Chrysler rear end utilizing a mid-60s factory Super Stock setup. A set of 4-wheel Wilwood power disc brakes with custom power boost setup provide the stopping power. This Barracuda features a custom-fabricated frame modification to strengthen the unibody factory design to enable a bigger boost in power. The front axle was converted to a straight axle with power steering and the elimination of hundreds of pounds of excess weight. The frame was also fabricated with a built-in driveshaft safety loop and new frame rails. The tubbed rear end has huge Sportsman tires. The whole package has a wheelie bar setup to keep the front end down on the road. The body has been modified to eliminate the stock gas tank and fuel door as well as the battery location. The rear trunk area has a 15-gallon fuel cell with electric fuel pump and yellow-top battery. The interior has been completely replaced with new fabric imitating the original black bucket seat interior. It has a new black headliner carpet door panel and kick panel set. The factory dash was removed and replaced with a custom set of Stewart Warner gauges. The body has been painted in Fiesta Red. Over 200 photos and all parts receipts are included. There are no factory high-performance or factory options. The car is streetable as a hot rod and custom car. Its not stock. There are no windshield wipers wiper motor or heater. It is properly licensed and registered in the state of Idaho.

1969 CHEVROLET K10 4X4 PICKUP

Lot # 1584 (Sale Order: 107 of 192)      

One of 1649 factory-made 4x4 short-wides in 1969 this custom Chevy K10 pickup underwent a no-expense-spared complete frame-off restoration with every nut and bolt disassembled and replaced or restored. The body and paint work cost nearly $50000 alone. Every body panel was completely stripped to bare metal blocked primed and finished in Hugger Orange and white with House of Kolor clear. It was then wet-sanded and buffed to a mirror-like shine. All chrome trim stainless seals and glass are new. The frame was sand-blasted and powder-coated and the bottom of the cab was sound deadened. This custom truck has an oak bed stained black with stainless trim. The truck is powered by a new GM performance 350ci crate engine backed by a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a 205 transfer case. Both the front and rear ends are completely rebuilt. Upgraded features include GM Performance valve covers custom belt drive system full-length headers power steering new power disc brakes Vintage Air new steering box WARN hubs and all-new suspension. The all-new interior features houndstooth seats with new foam and seat tracks new headliner seals new dash pad carpet door panels and arm rests new tilt steering column new gauges with factory tachometer and all-new bezels and switches. This custom truck has a 4?? lift with new springs and rides on new 35? BFGoodrich tires on Mickey Thompson wheels.

1965 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 1585 (Sale Order: 108 of 192)      

This 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible with suicide doors has been meticulously gone through with no expense spared. The car was stripped down to bare metal and all rust was cut out and replaced with new sheet metal. The car was blocked numerous times for straight panels and was finished in dark Metallic Gray Valspar solvent paint with a House of Kolor clear coat. The interior has a two-tone custom biscuit pattern with embossed stars and Nappa leather imported from Italy. It also features Dakota Digital gauges for a period-correct look and a period-correct RetroSound radio with a custom sound system. The car sits on original-style custom 20? Isotope Sofia wheels with custom 20? Toyo whitewall tires. The window switches appear period-correct but were updated with a Porsche mechanism on the internals and modern window motors were installed. The convertible top mechanism was updated with hydraulic rams and pump as well as new wiring and hoses. In addition it was fitted with a new black Haart Stayfast cloth top. The original 430ci 8-cylinder engine with powder-coated parts and FiTech fuel injection has been completely gone through and is mated to an automatic transmission. All other mechanical and suspension components were gone through as well. Every piece of metal on this Lincoln has been refinished including the stainless trim that accents the body lines. A brand-new exhaust system was installed with MagnaFlow mufflers and the disc brakes and cooling system have been restored.

This 1947 Chevrolet Stylemaster custom chopped-top hot rod has been extensively modified from top to bottom. It is powered by a ZZ4 350/375hp 8-cylinder Street & Performance TPI fuel-injected small-block engine mated to a 4-speed 700R automatic transmission. It features a RideTech air ride suspension with an on-board air compressor that allows you to choose your ride height with the push of a button. This hot rod has been chopped 4 in the front and 5-1/2 in the rear has frenched headlights taillights and antenna slot and a shaved and smoothed body that is riding on chromed Foose Nitrous II wheels wrapped in low profile tires. All of this is sitting on a Heidts Mustang II front end with Air Ride strong arms and a 57 Chevy 4-link rear end. This Chevy has been extensively chromed and is complete with polished aluminum intake valve covers polished air conditioning compressor and alternator with a good-looking accessory bracket set up and Hedman Hugger Silver ceramic-coated headers with 2 exhaust and mufflers. The inside sports a full custom interior with reclining leather seats custom aluminum accessories and handles air conditioning AutoMeter gauges and a custom CD stereo. This 1972 Chevrolet Blazer has undergone an 18-month full frame-off restoration with no expense spared. This truck is powered by a solid 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins diesel engine with P-pump with all-new seals and gaskets new 100b injectors big delivery system pump timing killer dowel pin 1-wire alternator new aluminum dual pass radiator with dual electric fans new steering box and pump new transmission cooler new turbo intercooler new front and rear custom driveshaft new 19-gallon Boyd Welding fuel tank and new Classic Instruments gauge cluster. It is pushed by a rebuilt Dodge 618 automatic transmission mated to a rebuilt 205 transfer case. It is riding on a new 4 suspension lift with 20 Fuel Vandal wheels wrapped in new Nitto Terra Grappler tires. This truck spent its whole life in the dry desert of Arizona until it was sold and was sent to Wyoming for its restoration. It started as a rust-free vehicle and retains its original sheet metal. It has a show-quality finish with PPG paint and powder-coated inner fenders and hood hinges. The tub and inside of the doors have been LizardSkinned and then Dynamatted for sound deadening. 1973 FORD BRONCO

This 1973 Ford Bronco is powered by an original date-code-correct rebuilt 302ci V8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. It received some upgrades including disc brakes and 2-1/2 Wild Horse suspension lift with Bilstein shocks. It has lived its entire life in the dry western climate of Wyoming. This truck was mostly rust-free before its complete ground-up restoration. The small amount of surface rust it had was media-blasted and prepped prior to its paint in its factory-correct Candy Apple Red. It is painted in PPG base coat/clear coat which was cut and polished. The original wheels and roll bar were media-blasted and powder-coated in the original Wimbledon White. It is rolling on new BFGoodrich KO2 A/T tires. This Bronco features Dynamatted floors doors and roof for sound-deadening and an upgraded RetroSound stereo and speakers with Bluetooth. It received all-new brightwork bumpers and glass. The one-off interior was custom-designed and features factory-original seats that were stripped blasted and refinished in top-grade full-grain distressed leather with matching door and rear quarter-panels. Nothing has gone overlooked on this Bronco.

This 1932 Ford Phaeton with a 2? chop is powered by a blown 59AB Flathead engine and a C4 3-speed automatic transmission with a 9? Ford rear end. This Phaeton street rod is an older build that started with a rust-free body and all-original Ford steel with no patch panels used. The paint and finish work shows well. The highly detailed and quality interior has no air conditioning heat or radio. The SoCal chassis is highly detailed from front to back and finished as nice as the topside. It features a dropped straight axle with split wishbones and the rear is a transverse spring with a 4-link set up. This Phaeton is equipped with 4-wheel power disc brakes and stainless-steel exhaust. The suspension has been redone with tubular A-arms and KYB shocks. It is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 750rwhp and a 6-speed manual transmission. It is a modern-looking HEMI ?Cuda with a Demon-style hood. All HellFish models feature Mr. Norms new ?Cuda-style grille ?Cuda-style tail panel and unique HellFish painted billboards. It is black with billet silver HellFish billboard graphics and has an old-school pistol-grip shifter.

After it was decided that it would better serve as a platform as the ideal shop truck for Barrett-Jackson Garage customers the cover was quickly put back on and plans of a limited-edition series were born. In addition to this very first special-edition truck #001 being auctioned off the team from Factory Five will be hosting a ?Live-Build? of Special Edition Truck #002 in the DIY ?Restoration Alley? area during the 9-day Scottsdale Auction. The Special Edition Barrett-Jackson Truck takes the award-winning Factory Five 35 Hot Rod truck to the next level with a combination of performance parts high-end components from major partner companies and serial-numbered Barrett-Jackson branding. The truck is custom from the frame up as the tubular steel space-frame is custom powder-coated with matching control arms in the front and rear; the front lower control arms have laser-cut Barrett-Jackson logos in steel. The brakes are huge Wilwood units 6-piston binders with 12.88? cross-drilled and slotted rotors up front and 12.19? rotors in back. The brake calipers are custom powder-coated with Barrett-Jackson logos and the performance suspension is inboard cantilevered double A-arm front and race-proven 3-link solid axle 8.8? rear with 3.55 gears and with double adjustable KONI brand coilovers at all four corners. It rides on high-end 18? custom Halibrand-style aluminum wheels with massive 315/30/R18 rear tires and 245/35/R18 fronts.
