ATTENTION COLLECTORS OF TOM MIX MEMORABILIA: A pair of 1920s bat wing, fringed Leather Chaps, with inside pockets, marked inside the waist band "Tom Mix" on one side, "H...moreollywood" on the other. Tom Mix was Hollywood's first Western Star. Born January 6, 1880, he made 291 films. He died October 12, 1940 in a car wreck. He was driving a 1937 Cord Phaeton. These Chaps will be accompanied by a photograph of Tom Mix and his memorial plaque. Chaps are in very good condition for their age, leather is supple, two tone brown with dark brown tooled belt. Approximately 33" long in the legs.

The Ackermann-Quigley Lithograph Co. was a well known and respected company of the early to late 1800s, and were recognized for doing many of the western themed posters and advertisements of that time to include "Uncle Tom's Cabin". Lithograph shows one line in the paper on left side, otherwise very good condition.

These Spurs can be found on page 281 in Vol. I...moreI of the book "Artistry in Silver and Steel The Adolph Bayers Legend", by Ben Miller & J. Martin Basinger. Spurs have silver engraved overlay mounting with silver overlaid initials "H.L.G." on opposite heel band for H.L. Gage made on 4-27-71 with engraved swing buttons, and clover leaf style rowels. Mounted with a pair of plain two-piece Straps. Rarely ever does a pair of Adolph Bayers Spurs surface at auction.

Awesome pair of double mounted Spurs (#534) by noted Cheyenne, Oklahoma Bit and Spur Maker Dickie Tignor. These spurs have beautiful floral engraving, etched swing button...mores, mounted with a pair of two-piece heavy floral Straps with "Dickie T" marked fancy silver overlay buckles. Dickie Tignor started making Bits and Spurs for himself in 1985. He was influenced by Earlon Shirley. Dickie T was selected as the 2006 Academy of Western Artists Spur Maker of the Year.
