Item Details
According to the Colt Archives serial number database, this Woodsman Sport First Series was made in 1942. It sports highly desirable brown checkered plastic "Elephant Ears" grips with embossed Rampant Colt, 4.5" barrel that is laser etched "C.J. SULLAWAY" on the right side, loaded chamber indicator, windage adjustable dovetailed rear notch sight and original 10-round magazine. This gun is in beautiful condition with extremely light wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. The Colt Woodsman is a semi-automatic sporting pistol manufactured from 1915 to 1977. It was manufactured in three distinct series: Series 1 (1915–1941), Series 2 (1947–1955), and Series 3 (1955–1977). It was also produced in three different models: Target, Sport & Match Target.
