Item Details
DESCRIPTION: Mahogany veneered "pillar and scroll" type dresser consisting of two small drawers over three longer drawers, all with wooden knobs. All housed in a fine mahogany and mixed woods case. The front of the case with applied scrolls terminating in scroll legs. The rear peg legs as typical of the form. PROVENANCE: By descent to the consignor from the family of Robert Fleming (1801-1874), Pennsylvania Senator in 1836 and 1839.
MEASUREMENTS: 44" x 23" x 43-1/2".
CONDITION: Light wear consistent with age and use.

Invoices will be sent at close of auction noting purchase price of all lots won, buyer's premium and any applicable taxes and fees. To establish a tax free sale, a copy of a valid reseller's permit or license must be provided. Any purchaser claiming an exemption who is unable to provide proof will be required to pay the tax and seek a refund from the state of Pennsylvania. Generally all items shipped out of state are sales tax free sales. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
Payment to be made in five (5) days from invoice date via credit card, debit, cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks or wire transfers. There will be a 3% discount for payment with cash, checks, debit card and money orders. Checks are held for ten (10) business days. Payments not received in five days will be charged to the buyer's credit card on file. Payments should be mailed to: Cordier Auctions & Appraisals, 1500 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
Cordier Auctions provides shipping for firearms (except NRR firearms). The cost is: Long guns: $50 for first long gun; $25 for each additional long gun won. Handguns: $65 for first handgun; $35 for each additional handgun won. Shipping for all non-firearm items and NRR firearms is the responsibility of the buyer. Cordier Auctions will assist the buyer in arranging shipping through one of the listed shippers. NOTE: Items to be picked up or shipped within one week of the auction date, after which storage fees in the amount of $5 per item per day will apply.

Out of state residents must have an FFL or a licensed dealer in their state to receive UPS shipments of handguns. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
