Tribuzio Squeeze Palm Pistol

Lot # 154 (Sale Order: 153 of 664)

Scarce and Desirable Tribuzio Squeeze Palm Pistol

Invented in 1890 by Catell Tribuzio of Turin, Italy, this is a very fine example of one of the more interesting late 19th century palm pistols. Colt 2nd Gen New Frontier Single Action Army in .38 Special

Lot # 176 (Sale Order: 175 of 664)

Extremely Rare Colt Second Generation New Frontier Single Action Army Revolver in .38 Special

Manufactured in 1963, this is one of only 39 second generation Colt New Frontier revolvers in .38 Special with a 5 1/2 inch barrel. Don Wilkerson points out in The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver: 1955-1975" that one in every 109 New Frontier revolvers is a .38 Special with a 5 1/2 inch barrel. Wilkerson also states the low production numbers makes .38 Special revolvers nearly five times rarer than the already rare .44 Special revolvers. This example is fitted with blade front and adjustable rear sights. It bears the Colt model and caliber marking on the left side of the barrel, and address on top. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap, with partial serial numbers on the front cylinder face and inside the grips. The assembly number "811" is marked on the loading gate and rear of the frame.

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The .38 Special New Frontier is a revolver missing from even the most advanced Single Action Army collections, this is your chance to fill that hole!
