dating: 16th Century, provenance: Germany, Iron head with six, pointed flanges; dark horn haft and grip, the upper part consisting in two cylindrical elements, divided by twisted rings, the central part sculpted with spiral, the grip decorated with bands and longitudinal grooves, framed with rings worked en suite. Provenance: Collection of Prince Carl von Preussen. Ilustrated in “Waffen-Sammlung Sr. Koniglichen Hoheit des Prinzen Carl von Preussen� by Georg Hiltl, plate III., , dimensions: height 56 cm.
