If the auction company does not disclose on a specific item that said item does not require a transfer, and the buyer believes that it does NOT require a transfer, it is the responsibility of the BUYER to provide the auction firm with documented proof that the item 1) is made prior to 1898 and 2) does not fire modern ammunition. If each of those items are not met, the firearm will undergo a NICS transfer, absolutely NO exceptions.
