Description
Our first Summer 2023 auction is the largest we have had in a while, with material from multiple consignors. A number of lots feature coins from hard-to-find countries and provinces of Africa, coins and a medal commemorating soccer championships of the past, high-value pieces from Italian States, and a nice run of silver minors from Canada. Among the more interesting individual coins are the key date 1933 Australia shilling, an Edward VI shilling from 16th century England, an 18th century crocione (large silver crown) from Milan, and an early specimen striking of Swiss 5 francs. As usual, our auctions have no buyer's premium, so enjoy! (And remember, we gladly accept consignments, so call or e-mail if you are interested in selling all or part of your collection.)
