CONDITION, Good with 90% thinning parkerized finish remaining, Bore is worn with strong rifling and frosting in grooves. Grips are very good and without distress. All markings are crisp and legible. SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 4" CALIBER .45 ACP MANUFACTURED 1943. Produced in secrecy by the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in Anderson Indiana. These single shot pistols were made of sheet metal and intended to be air-dropped to freedom fighters and resistance against Axis troops. They were distributed throughout Europe, Asia and the Pacific. Known as the FP-45 (flare pistol 45 cal) a production of 1 million were produced and provided to British, American air forces for distribution in Europe, The OSS distributed them in Asia and China and Douglas MacArthur had them dropped in the Phillipines. Rarely encountered today as they were considered a disposable weapon. This example has its original box and comic strip instruction manual as well as the wood dowel used to extract the fired cartridges. CONDITION, Very fine with some light areas of spotting on exterior. The action operates properly and the bore is fine. The comic strip instructions are very good and legible. Box is tattered but nearly complete. The dowel is slightly warped from age. Really a fine example. C&R

Produced at Winchester with 3 piece oil finished walnut stocks with strong "WRA /GHD" cartouche with Ordnance wheel inspection of left side of stock. Milled WRA marked trigger assembly with appears to be all WRA manufactured parts. Early uncut WRA operating rod with early long knurled recoil spring guide and WRA marked bolt assembly, Locking bar rear sight . WRA proofed undated barrel with Winchester drawing number on top of barrel underneath rear handguard. Solid barrel band retaining pin, single slot gas plug . Barrel is further marked with British proofs indicating possible lend-lease rifle. Mounted with a fine BOYT 44 dated leather sling. CONDITION, Very fine with excellent bright bore. Action operates properly. Stocks are very fine with some period bruises and impressions. Rifle retains most thinning parkerized finish with lesser amounts on receiver. Gas system appears to have been depot refinished. No Import markings. A fine Winchester. WW2 M1 Garand rifle. C&R

SERIAL NUMBER B8365 BARREL 22" CALIBER 30-06 SPRINGFIELD MANUFACTURED 1941. Invented and developed by Melvin Johnson and produced by the Cranston Arms Company of Rhode Island. The Model 1941 Johnson rifle with its patented rotary 10 round magazine and retarded recoil operating system was a highly accurate and reliable rifle. The magazine was fed using 2-5 round Springfield model 1903 stripper clips and was fitted with a bayonet lug for its proprietary triangular / spike bayonet. Fitted with a blade front sight with protective wings and a slide adjustable rear sight graduated to 1000 meters. A large quantity were issued to the United States Marine Corps fro use in the Pacific Theatre as well as use by Paratroopers. Parkerized finish with oil finished walnut stocks with checkered steel butt plate and fitted with standard sling swivels for use with Military shooting slings. Serial numbered on top of receiver and further marked " CAL, 30-06 SEMI-AUTO JOHNSON AUTOMATICS MODEL OF 1941 MADE IN PROVIDENCE R.I. USA" Additionally marked at rear of receiver on right side "CRANSTON ARMS CO." CONDITION, Very good with over 95% green parkerized finish remaining. All markings are crisp and legible. Bore is good with strong rifling and darkness in grooves. Action operates properly. Stocks are very good with period bruises and impressions. Mounted with Green cotton M1 rifle sling. C&R

EXCEEDINGLY RARE REMINGTON MODEL 10A TRENCHGUN

SERIAL NUMBER U 129184 BARREL 23" CALIBER 12 GAUGE MANUFACTURED 1917. Produced in a very limited production of 3500 gun for the US Ordnance Dept. Manufactured by Remington with walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivel and gutta percha "REMINGTON -UMC" marked checkered butt plate. Serial numbered U 129184 on underside of receiver and inspected with flaming bomb and US on left side. Fitted with grooved walnut handguard with sheet metal retainer affixed to receiver via 2 screws. Top of barrel marked "MODEL 10-A" with 3 line Remington address and patent dates. Barrel is serial numbered on the underside 165082. Barrel is mounted with Bayonet adapter with 3 cross bolts. Magazine tube is update variation without provision for forward sling swivel. The Remington 10A Trenchgun was finished in a commercial blue finish that failed to survive. Most surviving example have been either arsenal rebuilt and issued out to Law Enforcement, Prison Use or later destroyed. CONDITION, Good as found with receiver finish having toned to mottled grey. Barrel retains 60% finish in protected areas with balance having turned patina. Butt stock is good with several small shrinkage cracks at wrist and a unique spot of believed shrapnel damage on left side to rear of pistol grips. Fore stock has some chipping at rear confluence of charging rod but remains solid and serviceable. The front bead sight has long since worn away and the Eagle inspection on the front of the bayonet lug is worn away from use and age. A unique opportunity to own the rarest of US Martial Trenchguns.
