Outstanding 1840's Victorian Carved Ivory Bone Mourning Cane Toppers with Ebony Stand, Includes One
These are both in beautiful condition. These open and hold a lock of hair in rememberance. Both are named and dated. Appears to possibly be from a Mother and Child. Both are dated with birth and death dates. 1831-1833 & 1786- 1849. Both are in excellent condition with no cracks, or breaks. Stand is structurally sound but has one screw on that appears to have been replaced. Outstanding Set. Beautiful Patina to Carved Ivory Bone with Gems placed around top edges. One topper has one missing gem. Very Rare and Unusual Piece.
