The cover made of horn, held by a hinge placed at the fuse and consisting of the upper part of the rooster's head; it can be opened by pulling a small lever. The back of the flask decorated with the relieved effigy of a Foo lion; the convex side with a series of symbols, slightly different in the two flasks.
