Condition: Good. Color is a deep blue with very little fading and very little evidence of insect damage. Silver ribbon is slight loose and fraying in some places. Tarnishing of buttons present throughout. Metal somewhat loose on epaulets.Additional condition information available upon request.

Sharps New Model 1859 Carbine

Condition: Fair to good. Lock with traces of case hardened finish, rest a dull gray. Receiver gray with pitting. Barrel retains some old, applied brown finish, but all barrel marks were removed during the refinishing. Mechanically functional, but the Lawrence pellet primer mechanism is void of internal parts. Fair bore is dirty and pitted. Butt stock a later M1863 replacement, both it and the forend have been sanded and show moderate to heavy wear. Barrel band loose, rear sight blade replaced, sling ring replaced.
