Deutsche Werke AG Pocket Automatic (Ortgies Patent) Semi-Automatic Pistol, #133552, .32 ACP cal., 3.25" barrel, blue finish, smooth hardwood two-piece "Couchant Cat" medallion grips, low-profile blade front and fixed "V"-notched rear sights, with 8-rd. Couchant Cat marked magazine. Mfg'd 1921-1924. Lot includes a period leather police style flap holster in good condition, marked "B.A. XI" under the flap. Holster includes an extra 8-rd. Couchant Cat marked magazine. Pistol is in fine overall condition retaining approx. 85%-90% factory finish, with holster wear and highpoint edgewear along the slide and frame. There is a German "(crown)/N" proof on the right side of the frame and "GERMANY" on the underside of the barrel. Grips are very good with Couchant Cat medallions on both panels. Beretta Model 1922 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #201536, .32 ACP cal., 3.25" barrel, blue finish, pressed blued steel two-piece "PB" marked grips, lanyard ring, blade front and fixed "V"-notched rear sights, unmarked 8-rd. magazine, the left rear of the frame and slide display Italian proofs including two "(crown)/(crest)" symbols. Lot includes a period brown leather flap holster in good condition showing staining and cracking of the finish. The Model 1922 was mfg'd from 1922-1932. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining considerable original finish drifting to dark patina, with holster wear at the muzzle and along the slide with thinning finish throughout. Slide is marked "PISTOLA-AUT-BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915-1919-". Straps and trigger guard retain significant toning finish with scratches and edgewear. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining approx. 80%-90% original finish, with holster wear, light pinprick pitting on the left side of the slide and thinning finish. Rear sight is missing one of the ears. Left side of the slide is marked "TREJO PISTOLA CAL.22/ZACATLAN, PUE". Right side is marked "HECHO EN MEXICO" at the muzzle. Lot includes a period leather flap police style holster with an additional magazine that will not fit the Model 4. The Walther Model 4 was mfg'd from 1910-1928. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining traces of original finish with the remainder going to gray patina showing scattered surface erosion. Mfg'd by the Yugoslavian Military Technical Factory in the Spanish Ruby style. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining approx. 80%-85% thinning blue finish, with holster wear at the muzzle and along the slide. There is scattered light surface erosion and general thinning of finish. Factory markings are legible. Grips are good with flattening of checkering and a "V" cartouche on the base of the right panel. Bore is very good with light erosion and well-defined rifling. Action functions well and locks up securely on this scarce pre-war Yugoslavian pistol. Mfg'd from 1914-1934. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining approx. 80%-90% thinning factory finish, with holster wear and thinning finish along the barrel and slide. There is a large section of the frame on the left side of the pistol that has gone to gray patina. Trigger shows muted nitre blue finish. Grips are good with a 1" chip missing from the front edge of the right panel. Bore is fair with scattered roughness, light erosion and visible rifling. Action is crisp and functions well. Chinese M20 Tokarev Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two (2) Magazines and Holster, #N009072, 7.62x25mm, 4.6" barrel, blued finish, grooved black plastic grips embossed with five-pointed stars on each side, blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight with "U" notch. Lanyard loop mounted to left side of frame. Magazine #1 is stamped with a matching number on the floorplate (9072) and is in very good condition with light wear and patina. Magazine #2 is stamped with a mismatched number on the floorplate (3465) and is in fair condition showing dents, wear and patina. The brown leather black corduroy lined Chinese holster is unmarked and is fitted with a matching color shoulder strap and a new two-cell leather ammunition pouch. Condition of the holster is fair with deterioration to the corduroy and crazing and darkening to the leather. All stitching and fittings are in place. A good condition steel cleaning rod is mounted to the front edge. Pistol is marked on left side frame "N009072" and ""M20/N009072" on the top of the slide. Condition overall is fair to good, the metal retaining approx. 80% finish, with pitting around the muzzle and bushing and patina to the rear of the frame and slide. Grips are very good with light handling marks to the grooves. Action operates smoothly, dark bore is poor with pitting and patina and poor rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $500-$700. (C&R/PPT)

Chinese Type 54 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #13020071, 7.62x25mm, 4.6" barrel, blued finish, grooved black plastic grips embossed with five-pointed star on each side, blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight with "U" notch. A lanyard ring is fitted to the lower left side of frame. No safety lever on frame. Magazine #1 is stamped with a mismatched number (1785) on the floorplate. Mag condition is good with no remaining finish to the body, now with overall darkening and patina. Magazine #2 is also stamped with a mismatched number (7311). Mag condition is good with overall patina and rust spots to the finish. The Chinese leather holster is unmarked, partially lined with blue corduroy on the inside, and has a shoulder strap and two-cell ammunition pouch attached. A good condition cleaning rod is attached to the loops on the front. Holster condition is good with the leather darkened and showing surface crazing and handling marks. One belt loop is partially detached. Pistol is marked on left side frame "13020071/66/1966", and top of slide is marked with three Chinese characters for "54 type"/13020071". Condition overall is good, the metal retaining almost none of its finish, now with toning, patina, and areas of pitting. Grips are good with areas of handling marks. Action operates smoothly; bore is fair with toning to the chamber and areas of pitting in the grooves, rifling is mostly good. No visible import marks. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R/PPT)

Chinese Type 51 Tokarev Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two (2) Magazines and Holster, #18539, 7.62x25mm, 4.6" barrel, blued finish, black plastic grips embossed with five-pointed stars surrounded by "CCCP" on each side, blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight with "U" notch. Lanyard loop mounted to left side of frame. Magazine #1 is stamped on floorplate with matching #18539. Condition is very good showing light wear and patina. Magazine #2 is stamped with a mismatched number on floorplate (692). Condition is good with wear and patina. Brown leather Chinese holster is unmarked and has a silver five-pointed star on the spare magazine case button snap. Condition is fair with darkening, handling marks, and impressions to the finish. There is a good condition steel cleaning rod mounted to the front edge. Pistol is marked on left side frame in large clear markings "18539(Five-pointed star with two Chinese Characters on inside)195". Right side frame marked with three Chinese characters for "51 Type" and "L456". Top of slide is unmarked. The Type 51 pistol is an early Chinese type produced under Soviet supervision and possibly using Soviet parts. There is a Soviet style five-pointed star stamp on the left side trigger guard web along with the Soviet "CCCP" logo on the grips. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 40% finish which shows an overall dark toning and areas of old pitting. Right-side grip has a thru-crack to the upper right side, otherwise both are good with wear and handling marks to the grooves. Action operates smoothly, bright bore rates about good with several small areas of patina with good rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R/PPT)

Mfg'd 1937. Lot includes a period military style leather flap holster in fair condition with tight seams. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining approx. 65%-75% thinning blue finish, with intermittent thinning of finish along the length of the slide, small mars and areas of surface erosion noted. Pistol is dated "37" and there is a crisp "CZ" at the right rear of the frame. Slide has a full-length filed rib marked "CESKA ZBROJOVKA A. S. v PRAZE" with a Czech lion proof. Trigger shows muted straw finish. The checkered composite grips are good with small mars and would benefit from a cleaning. The magazine is marked "77747" with a CZ with arrow proof and a lanyard ring attached. bore is good and the action functions well on this pre-WWII Czech pistol. Straps display thinning finish, with the backstrap displaying light surface erosion. The ringed hammer shows muted color case hardening. Mauser Commercial Model HSC Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two (2) Magazines and Holster, #762071, .32 Auto cal., 3.25" barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight with "U" notch. Both magazines are marked on floorplate with "MAUSER" logo. Condition for both is good showing finish wear and toning to the surfaces. The brown leather holster has had the manufacturer markings under the flap obscured by a black marker. Condition is very good with areas of darkening and handling marks to the finish. The closure strap has wear and cracking. All stitching and fittings are present. Pistol is marked on left side slide "(MAUSER Logo)/Mauser-Werke A.G.Oberndorf a.N./Mod.HSc Kal.7,65 mm". There is a commercial "Eagle N" stamp in the web of the right-side trigger guard. This early war production HSC was produced between Dec. 1940 and August 1942. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 75% finish, showing wear to both sides of the front of the slide and patina spots to the front grip strap and left side of the slide. There is a glue repaired separation to the top of the left side grip. Both grips are otherwise good showing light scratches and handling marks. A leather liner has been re-installed and in poor dry condition, with non-original chinstrap. Twine has been installed for drawstring. Originality of war-time camo application is not guaranteed. Heer (Army) decal 40+% on left, decal has been installed over camo paint. Hand painted tri-color shield with cross has been roughly painted on left side. An original leather liner has been re-installed and in very good condition. Liner ink stamped "57" in a circle and "57"(?). Shoelace has been installed for drawstring. No chinstrap. Inside of shell skirt has been brush painted dark green. Shell stamped "Q 64" and lot "1738". Original paint remains approx. 40+% with scratches overall, paint has darkened with age, rust and patina. Original liner present made of very dry leather, all 3 pads are missing, drawstring present. No chinstrap. Interior of shell shows rust, dirt and staining. "G 62" stamp in skirt, unreadable penciled names or writing on rear of inside skirt. Nice untouched original WW1 camo. Est.: $250-$400.

WWII German M-35 Helmet. Exterior of shell has been nicely painted in a high gloss rust brown color, 97+% complete, with a few scratches at the dome top. Originality of "S A" paint and markings application is not guaranteed, Well-aged paper tag has the following type written details: "German M1935 SA Mountain Group "Hockland" Mfg. Code: Q 64, liner band dated 1937, strap dated1938". Right side has a well-worn "S A" emblem painted on it. Left side has a silver-gray Edelweiss with a swastika in the center painted on it. An original leather liner has been re-installed and in good condition, original drawstring and chinstrap present. Inside of shell has been painted in same high gloss rust brown and in good condition. Rear of skirt has "S A" and "71c" lettered on it. A very interesting helmet that deserves more research. Est.: $150-$250. .
