Flare Pistol Lot: (1) British No. 4 MK I Flare Pistol, #30759, 4-1/8'' barrel, 1-1/2'' bore, blue finish, checkered black plastic two-piece grips. Barrel and frame with broad arrow proofmarks. Barrel is threaded for aircraft attachment. Condition is good to very good overall. Barrel with moderate corrosion. Right grip with medium loss to bottom edge. Action and barrel remain tight. (2) British Flare Pistol, I.L. Barridge & Co., #054968, 3-3/8'' barrel, 1'' bore, blue finish, checkered black plastic two-piece wraparound grips, with retractable lanyard loop and green lanyard. Left side of trigger is marked ''M601'' (Barridge mfg. code). Condition is very good showing normal signs of age and wear, retaining approx. 90% blue, with some scattered fine corrosion and general light scratching. Grips with mostly crisp checkering. Action and barrel remain tight. (3) Original red tin containing three (3) M73 signal flares, dated 1945. Mfg'd by DMC. Condition is very good. WWII Era M-8 Flare Pistol, w/aircraft wall mount

WWII Era M-8 Flare Pistol, with aircraft wall mount, by EVC Co. (Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Co.), #000323, 4-1/8'' barrel, 1-1/2'' bore, blue & black finish, two-piece checkered black plastic grips. Includes a aircraft pistol mount with protective cover, also mfg'd by EVC Co. Pistol with maker's mark to right side of frame, dated 1942. Mount with maker's information to inside edge and dated 1943. Condition is very good retaining approx. 70% blue & black finish, with scattered patches of light corrosion to frame that should easily clean to improve the overall condition. Grips with crisp checkering. Action may need repair or adjustment as trigger does not seem to activate the firing pin. Threaded aircraft adapter is in fine condition retaining approx. 80% blue. Lot of Two (2) WWII Era Flare Pistols, by Webley & Scott: (1) No. 3 MK II, #1334, 4-1/8'' barrel, 1-1/2'' bore, blue finish, two-piece black checkered plastic grips, with lanyard loop. Left side of barrel is dated 1941, with ''(crown)/BP'' and ''(crown)/BV'' proofmarks, and ''Webley & Scott Ltd./Birmingham'' maker's mark. Barrel and frame with matching serial numbers. Condition is good. Barrel with no remaining blue and toning varies from light to dark overall patina. Right grip with an approx. «'' long crack near the attaching screw. Barrel and action remain tight. (2) No. 2 MK I, #34908, 4-1/8'' barrel, 1-1/2'' bore, checkered brown plastic two-piece grips, with lanyard loop. Dated 1918, with misc. British proofmarks, and ''Webley & Scott Ltd./London and Birmingham'' maker's mark. Condition is good. Metal surfaces with an overall dark patina and moderate corrosion. Grips are free of any cracks but contain some small chips and impressions to the edges. Left side of barrel is missing one of the screws that attaches it to the frame. Action and barrel remain tight. Condition is good overall retaining approx. 50% thinning and toning blue. Right side of barrel and frame shows some corrosion. Right grip with hairline crack that has been repaired. Action and barrel remain tight. (2) British No. 3 MK II, #2428, 4-1/8'' barrel, 1-1/2'' bore that is threaded for aircraft use, blue finish, two-piece checkered black plastic grips, with lanyard loop. Frame and barrel with matching serial numbers. Left side of barrel is dated 1941 with additional ''NT'' markings, as well as ''(crown)/BP'' and ''(crown)/BV'' proofmarks. Condition is very good retaining approx. 60% thinning and toning blue. Grips show normal signs of age and wear including flattening and impressions to checkering. Action and barrel remain tight.
