Lot of Two (2) 1904 Hospital Corps Bolo Knives, in leather scabbards, #24045 & #13277, both with ''SA'' / (flaming ordnance bomb)'' markings, one dated 1910 and the other dated 19121, 12'' rounded blades, 17-1/4'' overall, brass S-shaped guards, fingergroove hardwood grips attached by brass rivets and brass pommel caps. Leather scabbards with pivoting steel belt hooks, both mfg'd by Rock Island Arsenal, dated 1910 and 1912. Condition to both is very good. Blades show normal signs of age and wear. One of the brass guards may have been cleaned; the remaining brass parts with moderate even toning. 1912 dated scabbard is very good. Leather body with general scuffs and impressions; stitching and seams remain tight. 1910 scabbard is very good; stitching and seams remain tight. Est.: $300-$450/lot....more

U.S. Model 1917 Bolo Knife, by Plumb, Phila., 10-3/8'' matte finished blade and guard, fingergroove walnut grip, in canvas covered leather tipped scabbard by Bauer Bros., dated 1918, with brass throat and belt hanger. Condition is fine to near excellent. Flat surfaces of blade show thinning to finish. Grips with very minor marks from handling and some oil darkening. Canvas covered scabbard with mild discoloration. Leather tip with clear maker's marks. Shows moderate wear and impressions; stitching and seams remain tight. Est.: $100-$200....more

Lot of Two (2): Pal M3 Knife & Arisaka Bayonet: 1.) Blade marked U.S. M3 Fighting Knife, by Pal, 6-3/4'' blade, 11-5/8'' overall, ''bent'' guard, stacked leather washer handle, steel pommel marked with ''(flaming ordnance bomb)'', in fiberglass bodied U.S.M8 scabbard, by B.M. Co. Condition is good overall. Blade with nice straight cutting edge that appears to not have been re-sharpened but also has scattered light surface rust and dark spotting. Handle shows substantial deterioration but remains tight. Scabbard body with normal signs of age and wear, as well as identification numbers scratched into front side. Metal scabbard parts with considerable amounts of surface rust. 2.) Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet, mfg'd by Howa Jyuko, with steel scabbard; 15-3/4'' blue blade, 20-1/8'' overall, hooked guard, with wood grips. Condition is very good to near fine. Blade retains approx. 90% blue. Exposed metal surfaces with scattered light surface rust. Wood grips with oil darkening and impressions. Est.: $200-$300/lot....more

Pattern 1907 Enfield bayonet with wood grips, in leather scabbard with metal tip and throat. 3.) 1889 Krag rifle bayonet, mfg'd by Alex Coppel, with checkered hard rubber grips, in leather scabbard with metal tip and throat. 4.) 1936 dated K98 Mauser bayonet with mismatched steel scabbard, S/155 code, waffenampt marked on pommel. 5.) MK II ''Spike'' bayonet for a No. 4 Enfield rifle, with black finish, in steel scabbard. 6.) No. 9 MK 1 bayonet for a No. 4 Enfield rifle, with black finish, in steel scabbard with canvas frog. Conditions range from very good to near fine overall. The Swedish Mauser bayonet with light surface rust to parts of exposed metal surfaces. Most show signs of normal age and wear. Mfg'd by Kokura Arsenal, blue blade, ''wraparound'' grips, bird's head pommel is flat on sides, in steel scabbard. 3.) Unmarked training bayonet, bright unsharpened blade, right grips stamped ''2'', in steel scabbard. All of the bayonets with bird's head pommels, hooked crossguards, and wood grips. Conditions range from very good to fine. The Kokura Arsenal bayonet with the wraparound grips appears to have had the metal parts refinished; the remaining bayonets with normal signs of age and wear, including light to moderate impressions to the grips and general darkening to the pommels and crossguards.
