Very desirable Colt, 2nd Model, Percussion Dragoon Civilian Revolver, .44 Caliber, SN 9596, all matching serial numbers except un-numbered wedge, 7 1/2" barrel with some ...moreoriginal blue between barrel and rammer. Traces of original blue around wedge and wedge screw. Cylinder has "Model U.S.M.R." clearly visible as well as most of the rolled scene. Cylinder has all its safety pins with only one significantly worn. Action is tight and functions properly. Original grips with only tiny chips.

This revolver has no original finish, even dark grey patina. Appears to have all original screws. Original grips with significant chip in right toe.

Civil War U.S. Colt, 1860, Army Revolver, .44 Caliber, SN 89282 appears on the barrel frame, trigger guard backstrap with 9282 on the cylinder. The wood grips are in exc...moreellent condition and have strong cartouches on both sides. The patent dates on the cylinder are strong but the roll engraved scene is worn. The barrel address is strong and clear as is the Colts Patent on the frame. The action is strong and tight. This Colt is accompanied by a Colt Archive letter confirming the .44 Caliber, barrel length "Not Listed", finished in blue with wood stocks, shipped to the U.S. Government Commanding Officer at the New York Arsenal in January of 1863 with a total of 1000 guns. This gun likely saw action and was used during the Civil War.

This full box of .44 Colt cartri...moredges is in excellent condition. The end label is marked ".44 Caliber COLTS C.F. Winchester Make." Many hours of someone's time involved here in this display. High quality antique Showcase has four drawers and four fold down doors on each side, with six rope twist legs and suspended stretcher.
