Terms Of Sale
(1) Hometown Auction LLC has tried their very best in preparing this catalog for this auction to give the most accurate description of all items. All items are sold as is, where is and is bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are a matter of opinion.
(2) For Live Internet Bidding: There is an 18% Buyers' Premium added to each item. There is a $5000 limit on credit card purchases, anything over $5000 will need to be paid by Bank-to-Bank Wire transfer. There is no refunds or disputing charges of guns you purchase. If you are the high bidder and we charge your card, it is yours! ABSOLUTELY NO STOPPING PAYMENTS ON CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS, MONEY ORDERS AND ETC FOR PURCHASES. CONTACT J. (3) ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE SETTLED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards. Your card will be charged for your purchases, plus buyer's premium and any taxes. A pre-auction authorization will be performed to establish available credit. Debit cards may show a hold on funds for a short period of time. Nothing will be charged to your card until a purchase is made. A 3.99% credit card fee is added for card use. If you would like to pay by wire transfer a 20% charge of total purchase will be charged to your card to hold the item and the remainder can be done by wire transfer. Note: All FFL transfer and shipping charges are separate and are to be paid to Hometown Auction LLC separately. Each gun will be subject to a $25 transfer and handling fee.

(4) It is a bidder's responsibility to take packing and shipping cost into consideration when bidding on items. Packing, handling, shipping and insurance charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchaser will pay FFL, shipping and insurance charges directly to whoever is doing the shipping. Each gun will be subject to a $25 transfer and handling fee. Any disputes and claims will be between the shipper and the purchaser. Hometown Auction is not responsible for items once they have transferred ownership.
We estimate a 10–14-day turn-around for our shipment once payments have cleared our bank.
(5) Our on-line auction moves quickly! If you are interested in bidding on an item, bid fast. If you win an item in the auction, you will be notified by email. In order to have enough time to conduct authorizations, registration must be completed at least 24 hours in advance of the auction.
(6) In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number and email address at which they can be contacted. This is to insure good communication between Hometown Auction LLC and the bidder throughout any transaction.
(7) The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and cost incurred by the auction company in collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a fee of 10% per month be added to the balance of any unpaid balance due the auction company in collection of funds, and any other costs or losses incurred by the purchaser's failure to adhere to these terms. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Houston County, Alabama.
(8) The auctioneer has sole discretion to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it in his estimation, prove injurious to the auction. The auctioneer shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder a purchaser.
(9) The auction company shall not be held responsible for any "missed" bids or bids unseen by the auctioneer.
(10) All sales are final.

(12) The auction company reserves the right to refuse service to any person.
(13) All announcements made day of the auction take precedence over any and all written or verbal statements.
(14) Firearms: It is a bidder's responsibility to know if a particular firearm is legal in his/her state. It is a bidder's responsibility to know if any criminal charges prohibit oneself from owning a firearm. If you are not able to own one - DO NOT BID! It is a winning bidder's responsibility to provide local licensed dealer in his/her state to receive transfer of firearms, Hometown Auction LLC reserves the right to refund or not refund bidder's monies.
