Item Details
Published by Byron S. Adams, Washington, D.C., 1918. Very good condition Signed by Mills. He both named and laid out the city of El Paso, Texas. Appeared at Shiloh and in the Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, Atlanta, and Nashville campaigns of the Civil War. Also as a inventor he improved the regulation cartridge belt by attempting to weave the whole belt in one piece without sewing. The improved belt was adopted by the U.S. Army.
