Example of how online with multiple bidding platforms vs live bidding works:
Assuming bid increments are at $5. The current bid is $80.00. You put in a max bid of 100.00. The computer moves you to 85.00. The live auction begins and a floor bidder or someone from another internet site bids 90.00, the computer will bid 95.00 for you. If a bid for 100.00 comes in from the floor or another internet site, we cannot see that you have a max bid of 100.00 and the floor bidder/other source will win. We encourage you to watch the auction live from your computer. Be sure to enter the live auction as your are watching from your computer so you do not miss a single thing.
We accept bids as they come in, both online and in house. Remember, this is not a system we set up, it is how every online bidding system works. We see the same results when both online and in house are going simultaneously. In a live auction, the internet is not always right.
Payment
The credit card that you use to register will automatically be charged for the items that you purchase (except car purchases which require cash, check or wire transfer), unless you notify W. Yoder Auction of other payment options. If you choose to pay by check or money order, all items will be held a minimum of 2 weeks or until your method of payment clears our bank. Any dollar amount exceeding $ 10,000 will be required to do a wire transfer. Any credit cards that come back as 'declined', the items will be resold at the owner's expense.
