Item Details
The Browning A-Bolt 22 was manufactured in two versions, Grade I (1986-1996) and Grade II (1988-1996). The serial number on this gun does not match any factory records. We contacted Browning directly about this odd serial number and it is their opinion that it is a one-of-a-kind Prototype built in or prior to 1988 for factory testing. The serial number breakdown is - A70 = Grade/ Caliber, HH = Date Manufactured and 1055 = Serial Number. According to the Browning rep that we spoke to, A70 was never used as a grade code (other than a possible prototype), HH is not a date code ever used by Browning (which means a factory worker simply stamped HH as a "Mock Code") and 1055 was randomly selected to fill the 4-digit SN space. It is unknown how this gun left the factory. It could have been given to a factory worker after testing, which is how it found it's way to the general public. This gun features a checkered walnut stock with rosewood forearm cap and high gloss finish, 22" barrel with high luster polished bluing and muzzle crown, aluminum trigger guard with gold Buck Mark inlay, flip-up v-notch adjustable rear sight, gold plated trigger, black hard rubber buttpad, sling studs and sells complete with Tasco 4x32 scope. This gun does have a few light scratched where a sling has been, but otherwise is in beautiful condition with a perfect sharp/ clean bore and is in excellent working order.

- WE DO NOT CHARGE SALES TAX
- We will charge the credit card on file for each buyers purchases on TUESDAY, December 14th (UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED)
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction. This will be a "Final Invoice" which will include shipping and/ or any other fees that may apply.
- If you do not see your invoice in your Inbox, please check your Spam. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN INVOICE BY MONDAY, DECEMBER 13TH PLEASE LET US KNOW. (YOU SHOULD RECEIVE YOUR INVOICE SOMETIME SATURDAY NIGHT)
- There is a $15 Per Gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an dealer.
- ALL GUNS BEING SHIPPED MUST BE SHIPPED TO AN FFL OR C&R - THIS INCLUDES BLACK POWDERS & ANTIQUES - This is an Illinois Law
- It is the buyers responsibility to have their dealer (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) email us a copy of their license - auction@willsullivanauction.com PLEASE HAVE YOUR DEALER INCLUDE YOUR NAME SOMEWHERE ON THE EMAIL.
- Payment may be made in person or mailed to - PO BOX 68, CARTHAGE, IL 62321
- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50 - Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- WE WAIT ONE WEEK AFTER THE AUCTION BEFORE WE START PACKING/ SHIPPING. Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, December 20th & MONDAY, January 3rd.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- If your purchase is a Christmas present, please let us know and we will try to get it to you in time for the holidays.
