Item Details
Luger pistols were manufactured in Germany and Switzerland to very close tolerances and exacting standards using the highest quality materials in several models and by several nations from 1898 to 1948. The Model P08 luger was technically replaced in service in 1938 by the Walther P38, but ever-growing WWII wartime demands for handguns resulted in continued P08 production by Mauser until December 1943. Mauser production was supplemented by a small contract for Luger pistols given to Heinrich Krieghoff & Son of Suhl in 1935 to produce a Luger variant for the Luftwaffe; a second contract for 15,000 pistols was only partially completed when Krieghoff ceased Luger production in 1944. The German Army took their last delivery of 1,000 Mauser-made pistols in November 1943. This 1940 numbers matching (except for magazine) WWII German luger is in original condition with Nazi proof marks throughout. Features include a toggle-locked short recoil action, 3.9" barrel, brown checkered grips, and 8-round magazine with wood bottom. This gun is in nice condition with very light wear, has a sharp bore and appears to be in perfect working order. Marion J. Youngs Estate

- ALL GUNS BEING SHIPPED MUST BE SHIPPED TO AN FFL OR C&R - THIS INCLUDES BLACK POWDERS & ANTIQUES - This is an Illinois Law
- It is the buyers responsibility to have their dealer (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) email us a copy of their license - auction@willsullivanauction.com
- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50
- Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, July 5th & Friday July 16th.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- There is a $15 per gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an FFL.
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice after the conclusion of the auction from ProxiBid. This invoice will not include shipping or any extra fees.
- Each successful buyer will receive a Final Invoice sometime between Saturday, June 26th - Tuesday, June 29th.
