Item Details
The Beretta 92 is a series of double-action semi-automatic pistols, first designed in 1975, with many variants in several different calibers. It evolved from earlier Beretta designs, most notably the M1923 and M1951. From the M1923 comes the open slide design, while the alloy frame and locking block barrel, originally from Walther P38, were first used in the M1951. The grip angle and the front sight integrated with the slide were also common to earlier Beretta pistols. These improvements both involved the magazine, which featured direct feed; that is, there was no feed ramp between the magazine and the chamber (a Beretta innovation in pistols). In addition, the magazine was a "double-stacked" design, a feature originally introduced in 1935 on the Browning Hi-Power. The 92SB, initially called 92S-1, was specifically designed for the USAF trials (which it won), the model name officially adopted was the 92SB. Features added include a firing pin block (thus the addition of the "B" to the name), ambidextrous safety levers, 3-dot sights, and relocated the magazine release catch from the bottom of the grip to the lower bottom of the trigger guard. The Beretta 92 has been setting the standards for best military, police and tactical pistol for over a quarter century. Today, it is the standard sidearm of the US military and of allied forces the world over. This one-owner Beretta Model 92SB was made in 1982 and features CTC laser grips, 5" barrel and comes in original box with paperwork. - Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50
- Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, July 5th & Friday July 16th.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- There is a $15 per gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an FFL.
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice after the conclusion of the auction from ProxiBid. This invoice will not include shipping or any extra fees.
- Each successful buyer will receive a Final Invoice sometime between Saturday, June 26th - Tuesday, June 29th.
