Item Details
In 1959 Browning introduced the FN High Power bolt-action rifle, made in Belgium. It was based on a commercial FN claw-extractor Mauser action and came in three grades: Safari, Medallion, and Olympian. The High Power was a distinctive-looking rifle. The bolt-handles were matt-chromed, the European walnut stocks were shiny, the barrels used a stepped taper and were fitted with fine iron sights. FN also used a bright blue luster on these rifles and the polishing was known to be flawless. The FN Mauser actions that went into Browning's are a perfect illustration of why Mausers are so popular, even today. Browning discontinued the line of Mauser High Power Rifles in 1974. This one-owner FN Browning Safari Grade Mauser was made in 1966 and features a checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with gloss finish, gold filled floorplate/ trigger guard etchings, 24.5" barrel, flip-up rear sight, hooded ramp front sight, stainless bolt/ handle, brown tooled leather sling and sells complete with Bushnell 3x-9x, 32 scope. This gun is in good condition with some various wood scuffs, has a sharp bore, a smooth/ tight action and comes in original box. Marion J. Youngs Estate

- It is the buyers responsibility to have their dealer (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) email us a copy of their license - auction@willsullivanauction.com
- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50
- Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, July 5th & Friday July 16th.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- There is a $15 per gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an FFL.
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice after the conclusion of the auction from ProxiBid. This invoice will not include shipping or any extra fees.
- Each successful buyer will receive a Final Invoice sometime between Saturday, June 26th - Tuesday, June 29th.
