All purchases are subject to Indiana sales tax unless you have a sales tax exemption. A sales tax certificate must be executed on sale day; failure to provide a certificate will require the payment of sales tax on all purchases.
Once an Auctioneer accepts a high bid, the high bidder is bound to a sales contract for the item sold and the risk of loss is passed on to the buyer. The buyer accepts full responsibility for the merchandise once the auctioneer says, “SOLD”. Metzger Auctioneers is not responsible for theft.
