Payment
Invoices will be sent for the amount purchased immediately following the auction. Credit/Debit cards are processed on Monday following the auction through Auction Payment Network (APN). Acceptable forms of payment are Visa or Mastercard, money order or wire transfer. If you want to send a money order or use wire transfer, please advise us of that prior to the auction so that we do not process your payment through your credit card. We ask that you register your payment information at the beginning of the sale while you are registering as a bidder. Payment is due at the end of the auction. All invoices $500.00 or less are processed with the credit cards on file with Proxibid and are usually charged the Monday after the end of the auction. Please be sure to have the card that you WANT TO USE on file with Proxibid. ALL INVOICES OVER $500 will need to be paid by money order, certified check or wire transfer. Nebraska residents will have to pay 6.5% sales tax on the total including buyer's premium and shipping charges unless you provide your tax exempt information.

Please do not bid if you have any doubt about the lot. Once you have won the bid, you have effected a contract and will be expected to pay for the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment he feels is in the best interests of his clients, the seller. All announcements made on the day of the auction take precedence over printed matter.
Five Star Auctions is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Five Star Auctions or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Five Star Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins.
It is up to the buyer of firearms to know and understand their federal, state and local laws governing firearms. Firearms manufactured after 1898 must be shipped to an FFL in your area. It is up to the buyer to make sure Five Star Auctions is provided with a shipping address and copy of the FFL where the firearm is to be shipped. Buyer will pay for transfer fees for their FFL and for shipping and insurance. There will be no transfer fee from Five Star Auctions.
Make sure to inspect your items when they are received. Any problems with your shipment must be reported within 3 days. If not reported within 3 days, it will not be taken into consideration.
