Item Details
Brevette or European copy of a Colt Model 1851 Navy S/N 101093 showing a near perfect Colt New York address and patent markings on the frame. The area behind the wedge port shows a small star and 2 proof mark. Accurate dimensions and an extremely close copy with closely copied naval engagement cylinder scene. In very good plus to almost fine condition showing 40%-60% original blue and case colors with sharp edges and crisp metal surfaces. The grips show 70%-80% varnish with minor storage marks and slight imperfections. All matching visible serial number. This one would fool some collectors as being a Colt product let alone novices that had not viewed a Colt. (Antique) Est.: $800-$1600
