1971 Lotus Elan Sprint Convertible Big Valve

This stunning 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint convertible with the Big Valve engine has the most comprehensive and detailed history that could ever be wished for ( three folders full) starting from when the car was in build. It is finished in yellow with black leather, mohair roof, and tonneau cover, and has covered 102,000 miles. The car was first supplied by Hexagon of Highgate to a Mr Gibson of Wetstone N20, who owned the car until December 1973, when it was sold to a Mr Pankhurst of Reigate, Surrey. He kept the car for 32 years, then custodianship passed to Mr Colin Webb, who only kept HMH 168K for two years before passing it on to his brother Robert in 2007. It is quite obvious that the car has always been maintained on a no expense spared basis. There is just too much to list, but it is fair to say that as and when anything needed to be replaced, it was carried out with the best available at the time, and with a recognised specialists.
