In 1999, the more powerful DB7 V12 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. Its 5.9 litre, 48-valve, V12 engine produced 420 bhp and 400 lb·ft of torque. It has a compression ratio of 10.3:1. Transmissions were available with either a Tremec T-56 six speed manual or a ZF 5HP30 five speed automatic gearbox. Aston Martin claimed it had a top speed of either 186 mph with the manual gearbox or 165 mph with the automatic gearbox, and would accelerate from 0–60 mph in 4.9 seconds. After the launch of the Vantage, sales of the supercharged straight-6 engine DB7 had reduced considerably and so production was ended by mid-1999.The rare V12 Manual model offered here is described by the vendor as an extremely nice and well presented example of this modern day classic that's future investment status is now set in stone. Finished in Aston Martin racing Green with the interior finished in Forest Green with Tan Leather Facings, Burr walnut inlays and Tailors Grey sued headlining. The car comes with a full book pack and service records to confirm seventeen services to date eleven Aston Martin Dealers to 70,844 then six specialist in the last seven years.
