THIS IS A FAIRLY RARE 1947 REED & BARTON BUTTER PAT MARKED "S.P. & S RY". THE RAILROAD WAS THE "SPOKANE PORTLAND & SEATTLE" RAIL THAT WAS PHASED OUT IN THE 1960'S INTO THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN SYSTEM. THIS LITTLE GEM IS MARKED WITH "REED & BARTON" AND THE SCALE MARK FOR THE YEAR 1947. THE ITEM IS ALSO MARKED WITH THE "S.P. & S RY" MARK. IT MEASURES ABOUT 3 1/8 INCHES SQUARE. THERE IS TARNISH ON THE SILVER SURFACE, BUT GENERALLY ITS GOOD. SORT OF A RARE ITEM FROM A SMALL LINE IN THE NORTHWEST. SEE PHOTO'S
