dating: 19th Century provenance: Germany Lobster-tailed helmet, with iron skull in one piece, decorated with rayed raisers converging at the top, surmounted by a cusp, provided with pointed brim featuring stamps, sliding nose-piece, mobile cheek-pieces and four-plate nape-guard, on the back and iron plume-holder. Four-plate gorget, the upper plates provided with thick, twisted roping. Chest-plate ribbed at the centre, wide neckline with twisted roping; the back-plate slightly hollow at the centre, provided with loin-guard with recessed margin and twisted roping. On a wooden pedestal, presented together with a historicism sword. Fine armour from the 19th Century. dimensions: height totale circa 170 cm.
