dating: early 19th Century, provenance: Japan, Kabuto with iron hachi of sixty-two plates surmounted by a beautiful, party gilt tehen with external ring decorated with pierced floral motifs, also decorated with a ring-nut of pierced petals; large three-plate shikoro lacquered in brown, with fukigaeshi bordered in brass and remains of gilding and gilt mon; partially gilt and signed at the inside surface; complete with agemaki on the back. Fine, wooden maedate carved with the effigy of an in the round dragon with gilt body and red elements. Iron menpo with dark lacquering, complete with mustaches and three-plate yodare-kake. Fine, iron do with blue and white lace, complete with gyoyo, signed at the inside surface. Six-plate iron sode with dark lacquering. Fine kote with iron plates featuring antique fabric and shino of three, wide plates. Haidate with iron plates and mail of rings. Coeval suneate. Edo period. Charming armour with signed kabuto and a scarce signature on the chest., , dimensions: height come presentata 160 cm.
