DESIGN: Single shot. 4" barrel.
MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Pressed steel construction with "bonderized" finish. This was a procedure commonly applied to galvanized steel prior to painting.
FEATURES: Post front sight is part of trigger guard. Rear U-notch sight. Manual cocking mechanism at rear of frame. Smoothbore barrel made of common steel tubing. Bottom of grip is a sliding plate designed to hold additional .45 ACP rounds. The war time plan behind the "Liberator" was to air drop large numbers of inexpensive guns into occupied territories to civilians with a desire to fight their oppressors. They saw the most use in the Pacific and China-Burma-India theaters of war.
CONDITION: Very Good. Pressed steel construction shows modest pitting. Bore is fair.

Invoices will be sent at close of auction noting purchase price of all lots won, buyer's premium and any applicable taxes and fees. To establish a tax free sale, a copy of a valid reseller's permit or license must be provided. Any purchaser claiming an exemption who is unable to provide proof will be required to pay the tax and seek a refund from the state of Pennsylvania. Generally all items shipped out of state are sales tax free sales. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
Payment to be made in five (5) days from invoice date via credit card, debit, cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks or wire transfers. There will be a 3% discount for payment with cash, checks, debit card and money orders. Checks are held for ten (10) business days. Payments not received in five days will be charged to the buyer's credit card on file. Payments should be mailed to: Cordier Auctions & Appraisals, 1500 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
Cordier Auctions provides shipping for firearms (except NRR firearms). The cost is: Long guns: $50 for first long gun; $25 for each additional long gun won. Handguns: $65 for first handgun; $35 for each additional handgun won. Shipping for all non-firearm items and NRR firearms is the responsibility of the buyer. Cordier Auctions will assist the buyer in arranging shipping through one of the listed shippers. NOTE: Items to be picked up or shipped within one week of the auction date, after which storage fees in the amount of $5 per item per day will apply.

All items are sold subject to applicable Federal and State Regulations. All modern guns must be registered. Gun registration is handled by Cordier Auctions & Appraisals. Modern handgun purchasers must be Pennsylvania residents at least 21 years of age and must have a government issued photo id (driver’s license). Out of state residents must have an FFL or a licensed dealer in their state to receive UPS shipments of handguns. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
Applicable fees for non-licensed Pennsylvania residents to be paid at the time of check-out include a $2.00 PICS fee and a $3.00 per gun Pennsylvania State surcharge fee.
