Item Details
"917 x 12 is a framed composite artwork featuring a dozen different Porsche 917s photographed by Jeff Zwart for 917 x 17, the lavishly produced commemorative, Rennsport Reunion III tome featuring stunning studio images of each of the 17 Porsche 917s invited to the world-famous event.
Quoted by Racer Magazine, Jeff Zwart said that ìEach separate 917 is an individual archival print that is mounted on board and combined so the artwork is quite dimensional. All 12 cars form one single 917 image in a very large size. The artwork is nearly eight feet long and each piece is hand assembled.î
This particular example of 917 x 12 is number 3 of an edition of 10. It was originally purchased by the Ingram family as a gift for noted Porsche collector, the late Dr. William Jackson, of Denver, Colorado. The now sold out edition of ten pieces originally retailed at $15,000."
