1971 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck

Lot # 11 (Sale Order: 14 of 100)

1971 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck Vehicle Identification Number: CE141Z635488 Two Owner Truck 350 V8 Engine Automatic Tranmission Known as a real "work-horse" truck, the 1967-72 Chevrolet Pickup Trucks remain highly desired by collectors and truck enthusiasts. The truck presented at auction originally was purchased by a gentleman that used the truck to take him fishing over the years. Traveling the highways roads to prime fishing locations across Montana and Wyoming, the truck was very well cared for since new. The truck was acquired with 71K original miles by the current owner and it received a complete restoration 15 years ago to a high example. Under the hood, the engine was rebuilt and the transmission was overhauled with approx. 20K miles since the rebuild. The rebuilt original 350 V8 was enhanced with an RV cam, headers and dual exhaust. The body was professionally restored with any problem body panels replaced. Looking down the slab side of the truck, the workmanship shows to a high standard. The white paint, while not original to the truck, presents very well. The interior was re-painted during the restoration and the white seats and door panels are original to the truck. New weather stripping was applied. The trim and badges show very well and the tailgate shows straight. The wood bed was replaced in the restoration, but the wood is in need of another refinish. The stainless steel runners remain in excellent condition. The rear custom bumper shines bright and is free from typical dents and dings common through 45+ years of use. Auction Estimate: $6000-$9000
