Ducati 851 Strada

Lot # 104 (Sale Order: 4 of 175)

1988 is the year in which the first World Superbike Championshipmade its debut. Ducati was there on the starting grid with its new bike 851 riddenby Marco Lucchinelli. Despite the fact that the unreliability ofthe 851 was a serious drawback, the Ducati - Lucchinelli duo didrather well, winning the first overall title at the very firstround of the SBK World Championship held on the British circuit inDonington on April 3, 1988.The Ducati 851 Strada was first produced by Ducati in 1987. Itis liquid cooled V-twin with Ducati's revolutionary desmodronic 4valve head which replaced the 2 valve 900SS engine. When Cagiva bought Ducati the cash influx into development sawMassimo Bordi's university thesis for a liquid cooled 4 valvemotorcycle head put into production. Based on the Pantah motor butwith liquid cooling and 4 valves per cylinder, the 851 made Ducationce again highly competitive in motorcycle racing. In 1985, Bordi saw his idea produced when, with Cagivainvestment, the 851 motor was put into production based upon thePantah motor and with collaboration with Cosworth. The road going851 engine produced 93bhp.Ducati was successful racing the 851 with Marco Luccinelli butin 1990 Raymond Roche won the World superbike Championship. Thefirst 851 road bikes were criticsied for handling but that changedin 1988 when the front wheel was enlarged to 17 inches. Together with the owner's toolkit and owners handbook, this bikecomes with a rare factory workshop manual with the vendordescribing the bike as 9 out of 10 in every respect making thisiconic bike a worthy addition to any collection.

Ducati 916S Monoposto Europa

Lot # 105 (Sale Order: 5 of 175)

The first development of the 916 model family can be traced backto the development of the four-valve Ducati engine, theDesmoquattro, through the development and racing of the earlierPantah models, to the road-going 851 and 888 models. Designed byMassimo Tamburini, Sergio Robbiano and their team at the CagivaResearch Centre in San Marino, the 916's water-cooled engine was arevision of that of its predecessor, the 888, with largerdisplacement and a new engine management system. The stylishsingle-sided swingarm was designed to make wheel changes fasterduring races. The underseat exhausts improve aerodynamicperformance and resultantly gave very clean lines. This feature wasinitially introduced on the Honda NR, and although Ducati was notthe first, it has remained one of the trademark features of 916line. Journalist Kevin Ash suggested that the 916 was "one of themost influential machines of the last twenty years" and still is.This 'over the counter' bike won multiple world championships andwon them easily. At 9,000rpm, the 114bhp told every road user thatthis bike was something special. Outstanding in power, performanceand road holding every owner knew that this was and still is andoutstanding motorcycle.M797 SAU is very rare being one of only 199 916S specificationever built. It has ultra lightweight carbon fibre body panels mostof which are quickly detachable. It has race specification Ohlinsuspension and a re-mapped ECU as well as a sonorous, full lengthTermignoni exhaust system. The whole package makes for one of thegreatest road going motorcycles ever made and a Ducati that is aclassic in every sense. Presented in immaculate condition withhelmet bag, bike cover, tool kit, fully stamped service book andcomplete set of MoT test certificates confirming the mileage, owner's manual and a current MoT test certificate valid until July2017, this machine represents an incredibly rare and outstandingexample of an absolute icon.

Metmachex Suzuki 1200

Lot # 106 (Sale Order: 6 of 175)

Metmachex Engineering was registered in 1978 with the mainsource of work sub-contract jobs, interspersed with design andmachinery repairs. Their swinging arms, which have become knownworldwide throughout the motorbike industry, were first initiatedby a customer who asked for his LC350 swinging arm to be repaired. The repair was to be found to be too costly and Metmachex designeda new one made out of aluminium. Soon after, more orders came in todesign and manufacture a mirror polished aluminium swinging arm forall kinds of bikes and now produce a wide variety of componentsusing top of the range Cad software. To show case the engineering talents of Metmachex engineering asa company, two bikes were built with this example being frame 001.The owner has informed us the cost of building the motorcycles wasin excess of £127,000 and a major manufacture assisted in thefinancing of the bikes. The specifications included adjustable steering rake by means oftwo rose joints replacing the usual ball bearing head race. Thiswas a successfully engineered concept bike as the steering can beadjusted to suit any rider's preference. The frame is a very ridgedlarge section aluminium tube configuration with a multiplier on therear suspension unit. The overhaul effect is a superb handling bikebased in the very reliable Suzuki Bandit 1200 mechanicals. The bikeoffered for sale is frame number 001 with the second bike stolenbelieved written off.It was purchased by the vendor in June 2009 with 20 miles on theclock; the vendor is only the second owner since itsmanufacture. Since that date only maintenance miles have beenadded to the bike with the occasional Sunday afternoon ride out. Itnow has just over 200 miles on the clock and has a current MoT testcertificate valid until July of this year and we are informed itrides beautifully. Throughout the bike has been very carefullystored and has never seen rain. With a robust and reliable Suzukibase, this is a unique bike and offers a something a littledifferent.

Triumph Sprint ST 955i

Lot # 107 (Sale Order: 7 of 175)

The Triumph Sprint ST was manufactured in the UKfrom 1999 with power from a hugely reliable four-stroke,three-cylinder engine, an alloy-beam frame and a single-sidedswingarm. It was a complete redesign of the earlier Sprint900 and styled by Rod Scivyer. It used the955cc straight-three engine similar to those found in thecontemporaneous Speed Triple and Daytona modelsbut slightly detuned for smoother power delivery. The model'sappearance remained mostly unchanged from its introduction in1999.With just 5,600 miles recorded and only two keepers from new, this well presented example has been cherished by its secondowner.  He acquired the bike in 2002 with superficial damageto the fairing. This was recorded at the time as an insurance lossbut has since been professionally rebuilt and restored withreplacement plastics, a Kappa rack, top box and panniers. With heated grips and raised screen it has been used regularly forcommuting to the office in London.  The current owner has nowretired and decided to give up two wheels and so it has been littleused for the last five years. Although it should be noted that, when viewed, it started upon request. In excellent running orderand with low mileage, this represents a perfect touring motorcycleand comes complete with original owner's handbook and HaynesManual.

MG Midget Mk. III

Lot # 111 (Sale Order: 11 of 175)

We are delighted to offer this very well presented and pretty MGMidget that, upon close inspection, presents very well anddemonstrates excellent panel shut lines with virtually unmarkedpaintwork. The standard continues throughout this small sports carwith the undersides, interior and under bonnet areas matching itsoverall smart appearance. It was restored to a high standard in2003, the works being carried out by AMV 3000 in Hampshire, with adocumented cost in the region of £10,000. The quality of theseworks is still evident today. The MG further benefits from anun-leaded cylinder head conversion, telescopic shock absorberconversion on all four corners, chrome wire wheels, inertia seatbelts, Mota-Lita steering wheel and a useful and easilyfitted/removed hardtop that compliments the excellent soft top andtonneau cover. On a recent test, the 1275cc engine, with its twin SUcarburettors, started easily and soon settled to an even idle. Onthe road, the little MG performed well and, importantly, the brakesbrought the car to rest in a reassuring manner. This UK registeredMidget is accompanied by a large file that includes the V5registration document, old MoT test certificates, invoices and aHaynes workshop manual. We are advised that this will arrive at thesale with a fresh MoT test certificate. Offered without reserve, this delightful MG Midget is awaiting a lucky new owner to enjoythe forthcoming summer months; for a modest outlay, surely sportscar motoring doesn't get any better than this?

BMW Isetta

Lot # 112 (Sale Order: 12 of 175)

The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under licencein a number of different countries including Germany and the UnitedKingdom. Produced in the post-war years at a time when cheap, shortdistance transportation was most needed, it became one of the mostsuccessful and influential city cars ever created. Because of itsegg-shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a 'bubblecar'; a name then later given to other similar vehicles. In 1955,it was the world's first mass-production car and was thetop-selling, single-cylinder car in the world with a total of161,728 sold. BMW made the Isetta its own, redesigning most of thecar so much so that none of the parts between a BMW Isetta MotoCoupé and an Iso Isetta could be interchangeable. While it retainedthe 'Bubble Window' styling, the BMW version differed from theItalian model in that the headlamps were fixed separately to thesides of the bodywork and it carried the BMW badge below thewindscreen. This righthand drive BMW Isetta has been owned by the vendorsince 1963 and was used as his daily run around for many years. When he stopped using the car, he decided to put it into storagewith a plan to fully restoring her when retired. In anticipation ofthe restoration project, he dismantled the car and collected anumber of spare parts along the way; these will be supplied withthe car. Sadly, due to health problems, it is not possible tocomplete the project and he has decided it is time to sell his muchloved possession. The bodywork is in quite good order showing verylittle rust and, due to the amount of additional spares, thisshould be a reasonably simple project. Offered for sale withoutreserve, this is an ideal project for a reasonably competent DIYmechanic.

Porsche 911/996 Cabriolet

Lot # 113 (Sale Order: 13 of 175)

Introduced in 1998, the Porsche 911, with the designation 996had little in common with its predecessor, with the first newchassis platform since the original 911. Technically, it was amajor change, a complete breakaway from the original car other thanoverall layout and featured the most significant change from theclassic 911 series: a water-cooled engine replacing the previouslyair-cooled unit. Other major changes include a completely newplatform having a sleeker body with a more raked windscreen andre-designed interior. The first 996s were available as either acoupé or cabriolet and initially with rear wheel, or later, withfour-wheel drive and a 3.4 litre flat six normally aspiratedengine, producing 296bhp.This 996 cabriolet was first registered on 15th June,1999 and was delivered in the colours of metallic Ocean Blue withMetropole Blue hood and contrasting Savannah full leather. Introduced in 1998, the Porsche 911, with the designation 996had little in common with its predecessor, with the first newchassis platform since the original 911. Technic...moreally, it was amajor change, a complete breakaway from the original car other thanoverall layout and featured the most significant change from theclassic 911 series: a water-cooled engine replacing the previouslyair-cooled unit. Optionalequipment included the sound system, on-board computer and a CDR-22CD Radio. Today, this presents very well, in fact, it may bedescribed as exceptional given its mileage. Lot # 114 (Sale Order: 14 of 175)

The first Cadillac to bear the famous 'de Ville' moniker was aprestige variant of the 1949 Series 62 range. However, between 1958and 2005, the de Ville was a model in its own right; the definitiveversion of which was arguably that from 1959. The ultimateexpression of the legendary Harley Earl's jet plane-inspireddesign, it sported enormous, sharp tail-fins, bullet-shaped rearlight clusters, jewel-patterned radiator grill and a distinctiveroof supported by ultra slim-line pillars. Known as the Series6300, the Coupe de Ville and its Sedan de Ville sibling were basedaround tubular X-frame chassis equipped with all-round coil-sprungsuspension, power assisted steering and self-adjusting brakes.Powered by a 390ci, V8 engine allied to Hydra-Matic transmission, the de Ville cars were surprisingly quick although, with a quoted325bhp, they certainly had need of their power brakes. The 1963 variant had slightly morepronounced fenders while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat toprovide a lower profile.Restored in recent years, this hugely imposing fully convertibleCadillac offers more bang for your buck than any other carpresented here today. Able to carry a large family in sumptuouscomfort, the leather seats and newly carpeted interior have beenrenewed for exactly this purpose. Sitting on original Cadillac wheels and supplied with aUK registration certificate and a full 12 month MoT testcertificate, this magnificent example is ready for some leisurelysummer cruising.

Land Rover Series IIA Lightweight

Lot # 115 (Sale Order: 15 of 175)

In the early 1960s, both the Royal Marines, then largely basedaboard commando carriers, and the British Army required a vehiclethat could be carried by air. They had taken delivery of theWestland Wessex helicopter, which could carry an 1140 kg loadslung beneath. The smallest Land Rover available at the time was aSeries IIA 88 inch wheelbase, which was too heavy. A newmodification to the basic Series IIA was devised by making manybody components easily detachable and removing many non-essentialitems. The result was the Land Rover Half-Ton, known widely astheLightweightorAirportable. In practice, to reduce weightsufficiently for the helicopters of the day to lift them in combatconditions, the tilt and sticks, the upper parts of the body, thedoors and windscreen were removed, to be refitted later. The mostsignificant change, however, was a reduction in width by4 inch, by redesigning the standard Series IIA axles andfitting shorter half-shafts, which meant it would fit on a standardpallet. Complete, the Lightweight IIA weighed 1,202 kg, overthe specified weight and heavier in fact than a 'standard' LandRover. The termLightweightwas, therefore, confusing. However, withthe removable body panels taken-off it was below the limit. Sinceimprovements to the helicopters meant more lift was available, theMoD accepted it for use.The first production models were completed on 11 November 1968,with the first 1500 distinguishable by having the headlights in thegrill panel, including the car on offer today. This example wasproduced on 22nd January 1969 and left the factory onthe 30th January 1969 to Central Vehicle Depot (CVD) inFeltham. The car is supplied with a copy of the "B" vehicle datacard with its military service history and after Feltham, the LandRover headed over to CVD Hilton on the 7th November1969. On 21st March 1973, it was in service with the8th Signal Regiment and subsequently released frommilitary service in 1975.Over the last 2 years, this Lightweight has undergone a rebuildon a new galvanised chassis which has been painted with the carsubjected to a full respray; a new interior was fitted along with anew canvas roof. With an MoT test certificate valid until January2018, this is a charming example of an early Lightweight and aparticularly rare example with the grill mounted headlights.

Aston Martin DB9 Coupé

Lot # 118 (Sale Order: 18 of 175)

The sleek superformed aluminium body of the DB9 was initiallydesigned by Ian Callum but had also been significantly influencedby the next director of AM design, Hendrik Fisker. It was poweredby a third generation version of the now familiar 6.0 litre, V12and has a top speed of 186mph. The DB9 was the first of what was tobecome a long line of production Aston Martins to use VHarchitecture; using superformed parts in the chassis and footwellas well as the body panels. The individual die-cast, extruded orstamped aluminium elements of the VH platform are bonded withstrong adhesives and self-piercing rivets to make a lightweight butstiff backbone. The DB9 body shell weighed 25% less than that ofthe DB7 but has double its torsional rigidity. This process alsoallowed Aston Martin to retain high levels of engineering accuracyin producing a car at a higher volume, ensuring chassis performanceto match the engine power. Aston Martins have always made theinterior of their cars to be very special places. The fine detailof finishing is typified by the starter button made of glass andsand etched with the Aston Martin wings logo. With just three owners in total, this superb drivers' carpresents in Slate Blue with a Cream Truffle interior. The lastowner acquired the car in 2008, when it was just one year old andhas maintained a full Aston Martin service history all the waythough until now, the last of which, its big 10 year service, wasin September, 2016. The vendor has cherished this example and theonly reason for sale is the acquisition of a DB11, reason enough Ithink.  Supplied with a Touchtronic gearbox, the factoryoptions also include UK Bluetooth, grey brake callipers, Ventureshield front end paint protection film, front parking sensors, front stone guards and 19" 15 spoke alloy wheels. A superb car andsuperb value.

Lot # 119 (Sale Order: 19 of 175)

Introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, the Pininfarina styledFerrari 308 GTB was the replacement for the Ferrari Dino 246. In1980, Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection was added, creating the 308 GTBi and GTSi. The cars were identical to the 308GTB/GTS models, aside from the wheels that were of a slightlydifferent design, whilst on the inside, the clock and oiltemperature gauge were moved to the centre console. There was alsoa new black steering wheel with three perforated spokes, and seatsof a different pattern. A total of just 494 GTBi and 1,743 GTSimodels were produced before the 308 Quattrovalvole succeeded them,in 1982. This Ferrari 308 GTBi, is presented in its original colour ofGiallo Fly and is complimented by the lightweight, magnesium,five-spoke alloy wheels that are shod with a set of Michelin TRXtyres, as fitted new in May 2012, having covered a little over 300miles since that time. This 308 also features an additional spoilerto the rear and all glass, lenses, and ancillary items present inextremely good condition. The Ferrari is also equipped with, airconditioning, a larger front spoiler, rear spoiler, ventilated discbrakes front and rear, Nardi steering wheel, electric windows,radio/cassette, electric aerial, central locking, spare wheel, fireextinguisher and toolkit. The black leather interior is in goodorder; the condition of the upholstery is consistent with the car'smileage, displaying only light signs of use.  Mechanically, the Ferrari's 2.9-litre, V8 engine features the Bosch K-Jetronicfuel injection mated to a five-speed synchromesh gearbox. On test, the car performed well and, whilst not the quickest productionFerrari to leave Maranello, it still provides a thrilling drivewith an enticing V8 soundtrack. Of note is the engine bay that isin very clean order. Recent work includes a full service, cambeltchange, and new clutch at 35,131 recorded miles.   The Ferrari was originally UK registered on 1st August 1981, andwas supplied new by Lancaster Garages (Colchester) Ltd. The historyfile is complete with the original Ferrari document pack thatincludes both owner's manuals and the dealer-supplied service book.Records show that the Ferrari was first serviced in 1981 and thenagain in 1984, although the exact mileages are unknown. Interestedparties should note that the mileages quoted have taken intoaccount an odometer change at 15,041 miles in September 1989. TheFerrari was subsequently serviced at the following intervals:15,568 miles, 22,895 miles, 24,343 miles, 31,550 miles with cambeltchange, 33,971 miles, 34,563 miles, 34,934 miles with cambeltchange, 35,023 miles, 35,052 miles and 35,151 miles with cambeltchange, new clutch and exhaust manifolds in October 2015. A currentMoT test certificate accompanies this 308 and is valid until20th September 2017. This is one of only 74 originalrighthand drive cars manufactured, of which fewer than 20 arebelieved to remain in existence; with this and the Ferrari 308model, being one of the most classical shapes produced by Ferrariin the 1980s, we believe offers good value as Ferraris continue torise in value and desirability.

Healeybuilt a single 'Healey Hundred' for the 1952 London Motor Show andthe design impressed Leonard Lord, Managing Director of Austin, somuch that a deal was struck with Healey to build it in quantity atAustin's Longbridge factory. The car was renamed the Austin-Healey100. The '100' name comes from Donald Healey, who selected the namefrom the car's ability to reach 100mph, as opposed to theAustin-Healey 3000, which is named for its 3000cc engine. The first100's (series BN1) were equipped with the same 90bhp engines andmanual transmission as the stock A90, but the transmission wasmodified to be a three-speed unit with overdrive on second and top.The 2660cc engine featured an undersquare 87.3mm bore and 111.1mmstroke. Girling 11" drum brakes are fitted all round. Frontsuspension is independent using coil springs and at the rear is arigid axle with semi elliptic leaf spring while the steering is bya cam and lever system. A BN1 tested by The Motor magazine in 1953had a top speed of 106mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in11.2 seconds.  These were built from May 1953, and replaced bythe BN2 model in mid-1955.This matching numbers, original righthand drive, 1954 AustinHealey 100/4 was supplied new to Australia and used there for ashort time before been taken to New Zealand. In New Zealand, thisBN1 was the subject to a complete cosmetic restoration some timeago. Imported to the UK in 2016 the car was sent to Healeyspecialist Rawles Classic Cars in Hampshire where £10,000 was spenton the mechanics and replacing the sills to bring this car back toits restored state. It is reported that the car drives superbly andis ready to be used and enjoyed. Finished in red with blackinterior this Austin Healey 100/4 is supplied with a V5Cregistration document, a heritage certificate, copies of theinvoices from Rawles and a full set of weather equipment. Theseearly BN1's are eligible for a host of classic events including theMille Miglia. Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior

Lot # 123 (Sale Order: 23 of 175)

The Alfa Romeo 105 series coupé, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaroof Bertone, was considered to be one of his greatest designs. Notonly as one of the best looking and handling classic saloon cars ofthe period, but the advanced specification with its five-speedgearbox, all round disc brakes, independent suspension and powerfultwin-cam engine still has the capability to embarrass many of itsmodern counterparts. This GT 1300, offered in black with matching trim, is in fabulouscondition throughout due to an extensive restoration and upgrade bythe previous owner. The bespoke restoration took place in 2010 andwas described as a 'full body project', the engine of this 1.3litre Junior was fast-road tuned and the head ported which makesthis potentially ideal for classic rallies where it would, undoubtedly, be very competitive. This was then complemented by afull bare-metal respray and comprehensive works to the body andchassis of the vehicle. The interior offers quilted leather door-cards, seats and trim allnew at the time of restoration which was fewer than 10,000km ago.Currently registered in Hungary, given the spritely Juniorsperformance, there is a good chance that this vehicle could bereturning to Europe. Described as 'clean as a whistle' by theowner, we are sure this Alfa will attract plenty of attention.?

Jaguar XK120SE Drophead Coupé

Lot # 124 (Sale Order: 24 of 175)

The Jaguar XK120 was manufactured between 1948 and 1954 and wastheir first sports car since the SS100 which ceased production in1940. It was launched in roadster form at the 1948 London MotorShow as a show car for the new Jaguar XK engine. It caused asensation thus persuading Jaguar founder and design boss, WilliamLyons, to put the car into production. The '120' in its namereferred to its top speed which made the XK120 the world's fasteststandard production car at the time of its launch. It was availablein two open versions; first as the roadster, then also as adrophead coupé from 1953 and also as a closed, or 'fixedhead'coupé, from 1951. With alloy cylinder heads and twin side-draft SUcarburettors, the double overhead-cam 3.4 litre straight-six XKengine was comparatively advanced for a mass-produced unit of thetime. With a standard compression ratio of 8:1, it developed160bhp. This same basic design of the XK engine, later modifiedinto 3.8 litre and 4.2 litre versions, survived into the late1980s. SE (Special Equipment) versions of the XK120 included a specialcamshaft with 9.525mm valve and damper, multi-spoke wheels, stifferanti-roll bars and rear springs along with two Lucas fog lights. The Drophead Coupé or DHC was also the XK120's least produced modelwith just 1769 leaving the factory between 1953 and 1954 making theDrophead Coupé XK120 SE even rarer than its sought after siblingthe XK150S. This Jaguar XK120SE Drophead Coupé was dispatched from Jaguar Carsin 1954 to Mr. Grant, thought to possibly be the British bornAmerican actor, Cary Grant and stayed in rust-free California,United States until 2015 when it was brought back to the UK andregistered with the DVLA. The car comes with a considerable historyfile from which it can be deduced that around $45,000 was spentbetween 2010 and 2012 on a comprehensive restoration and the carnow presents in excellent condition. This work included a fullrepaint and re-trim as well as a large amount of mechanicalrefurbishment. The engine, we are informed, has a nice tight feeland holds excellent oil pressure and the original Moss gearboxprovides smooth gear changes. The stunning green paint finish is inreally nice condition as is the leather trim and highly polishedwooden dashboard. The mohair hood is in first class order and isbeautifully lined. A local specialist has thoroughly test-driventhis car for around 100 miles and deduced that it is a realpleasure to drive and, in his opinion, will give hours of pleasureto the next owner. XK120's are very handsome vehicles and thisJaguar is a thoroughly useable drophead coupé. Finished in metallicBritish Racing Green with Sage Green leather interior and sittingproudly on wire wheels, this XK120 is indeed a splendidexample.

AC Cobra by RAM

Lot # 125 (Sale Order: 25 of 175)

Ram Automotive cars, although similar in appearance to the otherCobra replicas, are totally different under the double-skinnedfibreglass shell. Instead of a ladder frame chassis, there is afull space frame which was developed in conjunction with the racecar constructors, Reynard. Adrian Cocking is the man behind RamAutomotive, an ex-Dax employee who left to set up his own business. The very nature of the Ram's chassis construction gives increasedrigidity over most ladder frames and offers benefits in the car'shandling. Jaguar top and bottom wishbones are hung onto the frontof the chassis and used in conjunction with up-rated road springsand dampers.  At the rear of the car, a modified Jaguar XJseries rear axle is used with narrowed drive-shafts. The spaceframe design offers the safety conscious a well braced body shell;there are many impact absorbing zones and the driver is surroundedby substantial framework. Also the fuel tank is set deep into thechassis behind the seats for protection. Most Ram Cobra replicaswere fitted with a mildly tweaked Rover V8 engine; in some cases alarge American V8 unit was used giving similar performance to theoriginal Shelby Cobra. Finished in metallic Porsche Zinc, this example was built  in1992 and designed by Adrian Reynard who was heavily involved inFormula One, Champ Car and Cart racing chassis. This Ram replica ispowered by a Chevrolet ZZ3 power plant producing 345bhp and409lb/ft via a Holley 650CFM carburettor and Mallory electronicignition. Purchased by our current vendor in 2009, he had thevehicle shipped to his residence in France but problems with theFrench DVLA equivalent meant that this RAM replica has done veryfew miles over the past seven years or 6,000 miles. Transmission is provided by a four speed Muncie gearbox which ishoused in a modified Reynard space frame chassis that was up-ratedin eleven extra places for rigidity. The car also boasts astainless steel exhaust which provides ample audio to the fantasticand iconic look of this car. Although up-rated, meticulousattention has been taken to produce an authentic feel with the useof many correct parts. The dash board was traced from an original427 Cobra at Beaulieu National Motor Museum and is complimented bythe three spoke Moto-Lita steering wheel and black Connolly hide onboth seats and door panels. The wheels are the correct replicaHalibrand wheels and three blade spinners. Accompanying the car isthe build book including receipts and history alongside detaileddiagrams. Registered as a 1967 historic vehicle, fully road legaland tax exempt, this fantastic example represents one of the mostauthentic Cobra replicas we have seen.?
