1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 Spirit of America #155 Motorcycle Lot #006A (Sale Order 6 of 48) It is rare that a manufacturer makes only 200 of a particular model. This is a complete, original, unrestored KZ1000 Spirit of America, a production KZ1000 with Vetter saddlebags, fairing and luggage carrier that were supplied to Kawasaki with all graphics in place, plus engine guards, highway pegs and a special seat by Kawasaki. Kawasaki personalized 200 KZ1000’s for their dealers to ride in convoy from their manufacturing plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, to a reception in St. Louis, Missouri, and then to their respective dealerships.“Made in America” has been very important to Americans, showing national pride and keeping as many jobs as possible here in our 50 states. 27,883 miles showing. The bike debuted at the 2013 Easyriders show, won Best of Show award. Custom machining from the brass bar ends all the way down to the custom made tri bar rear axle nuts, transforming what was once a humble Yamaha run of the mill XS650 into this really unique machine. Camel Toe Chopper Custom Lot #039A (Sale Order 39 of 48) This very well detailed chopper was built by Dale McMahon of Camel Toe Choppers. S&S Super Stock motor, belt primary, extended chrome springer front end, disk brakes front and rear. Traditional in many ways, it’s also unique in Dale’s use of brass parts, like the knurled grips. Copper-brown metalflake paint, pearl silver flames, green pin-stripes.The detail is great when you look at the moulded frame tubing welds, the various spacers and bushings throughout, and there’s even twisted stainless spokes front and rear, a sissy bar to match.
