1952 Cushman Eagle Scooter 1952 Cushman Eagle Scooter

1952 Cushman Eagle Scooter

Lot #15C (Sale Order 19 of 143)

1952 Cushman Eagle Scooter This outstanding Cushman Eagle is a great example of the type of scooter available during the miniature motorcycle craze of the 1950’s. Highly collectible today the Cushman motorcycle was a unique, simple and highly configurable scooter that could be bought and customized to the riders taste. The production and use of Cushman Airborne military scooters aided the Army during World War II due to their ease of use, maintenance and ability to drop out of helicopters/planes. Consumer production resumed full-force after the war; by 1950 Cushman was manufacturing 10,000 motor scooters per year, and in that year the company introduced its popular Eagle model. The Eagle was Cushmans’ most popular scooter in production for 16 years. The popularity of the Cushman Eagle was largely due to it looking like a motorcycle with its exposed engine and top tank. Cushman Eagles were designed for simplicity of operation and service and built to give owners dependable performance mile after mile. This Model 762 Springer Eagle with centrifugal clutch and no transmission was introduced in April, 1952. This was to be an economy model and came less the rack above the rear fender. Production lasted only about one year and is very rare and collectable. ENGINE: This 4hp round block Cushman Husky Air-Cooled engine has been rebuilt and has a brand-new upgraded carburetor. The engine is in great running condition and sounds great. DRIVE TRAIN/SUSPENSION: This particular Cushman is an early model Eagle with Barrel spring front forks suspension and brakes are in excellent condition. Equipped with a Rare – single speed direct drive this model does not have a transmission. FRAME: This particular scooter was cosmetically restored a decade ago and used as a conversation piece in a lobby / showroom never being used or driven. Frame was re-painted yellow and is in excellent shape. EXTERIOR: The Eagle Cushman looks to our eye more like a Harley than many other versions with its swooping lines, cruiser stance, tear drop tank and hard tail seat. The Eagle model was definitely one of the more popular models. As far as the ancillary controls on this Cushman, all of the switches, head light and tail light work as they should and are powered by a full-power Cushman Permalite built as an integral part of the magneto. Pedals and handle bars are in excellent condition.

1977 MGB Roadster

Lot #17 (Sale Order 21 of 143)

1977 MGB Roadster VIN: GHN5UH429237G Under 60,000 original miles Numbers Matching Example 1798cc B-Series I-4 engine 4-speed manual transmission with factory electrical overdrive The replacement for the best-selling MGA, Abingdon introduced the MGB to critical and popular acclaim in 1962. The first affordable mass-production British sports car to feature monocoque construction, it was the most refined competitor in its class, boasting build quality that was the envy of the British motor industry. Until the Mazda Miata, more examples of the MGB were sold than any other sports car. The last of a vanished breed, this late ‘rubber bumper’ version is the perfect entry point into classic car ownership, benefitting from unprecedented parts support and an avid owner’s club. The Motorcar Offered This attractive example was restored by the previous owner, including a full mechanical rebuild and complete body repaint. The interior benefits tremendously from brand new upholstery. In addition, the convertible top is new. The carburettors are finely tuned and the exhaust has been upgraded with a period Abarth unit that produces a throaty burble at idle. Best of all, this example features the optional Laycock de Normanville electrical overdrive, which makes the car a pleasure to drive at freeway speeds. Few cars can match the style of a classic British roadster and none can match the value of this MGB, making it a fine choice for someone new to the hobby or a collector wanting an affordable classic. 1920 Willys-Overland 1920 Willys-Overland

1920 Willys-Overland

Lot #25 (Sale Order 29 of 143)

1920 Willys-Overland Founded in 1903, the Overland Automobile Company was an early pioneer in the development and manufacture of American motor cars. In 1908, Overland was acquired by John North Willys and renamed Willys-Overland in 1912. By 1915, Willys-Overland was 2nd in U.S. car production right behind Ford. The 1920 models were known for their rugged durability due to their all-steel body and the ride was enhanced by the patented Triplex front suspension. The L-head 4 Cylinder power unit which developed 27 hp was, in fact, the direct ancestor of the notable Jeep engine, produced 21 years later. While the Overland namesake was dropped in 1926, the name was revived in 2002 and applied to the high end Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. The 1920 Willys-Overland presented at auction is a very fine restored example. Having resided in the dry climate of Wyoming for most of its existence, this car had a solid beginning in its restoration. The 4 Cylinder L-head engine runs smooth and the engine compartment is worthy of review. While the original engine crank is present, the car is equipped with factory electric start. The undercarriage is restored to original retaining the patented front suspension and mechanical braking system producing consistent stopping on command. The body is smooth and the black paint presents very well. The top is brand new as are the side curtains that fit extremely well. The vinyl windows are crystal clear and provides great visibility. The interior upholstery looks great with the seats and the door trim new when restored. The wood wheels appear original to the car and the spokes are tight. The timeless appeal of the car is capped off by the Overland hubcaps! This car is ready to cruise and enjoy with the same fervor it was originally used for nearly 100 years ago!!

1964 Ford Thunderbird Sport Coupe

Lot #28 (Sale Order 32 of 143)

1964 Ford Thunderbird Sport Coupe VIN: 4Y83Z159498 Odometer 24,250 1964 Ford Thunderbird Sport Coupe finished in Ice Blue Metallic. We have all heard the following regarding classic cars: Oh, the vehicle is rarer then Hens Teeth, no other car like it, best in the world, best car on the planet, or the entire solar system for that matter. Occasionally, the aforementioned assertions can be true. More often, they are an aggrandizement of the particular automobiles rarity. That being said this Thunderbird before you I will sum up as RARE. After all, I have no idea if there is another 1964 Thunderbird such as this one. 351 cubic inch 300 horsepower “FUEL INJECTED” engine with headers totaling $9000.00 to build. Options are as follows: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, electric antenna. Both seats are 10 way power operated. Clarion 10 disc CD player firmly mounted in the trunk. Tilt and Thunderbird’s patented swing-away steering wheel, cruise control, Ribbon speedometer, Kelsey-Hayes true wire wheels, remote controlled side view mirrors, Air Conditioning (currently not-functioning), dual exhaust which exit through the rear gravel pan tastefully, as well as, precisely finished. Dash mounted emergency flashers which were a first introduced in the model year of 1964. No, the car hasn’t been modified. I’d rather use the term, “Modernized”. The paint and body are unequivocally “PERFECT”. The previous word cannot be compromised, cannot be considered maybe, cannot be interpreted as possible. Chrome, stainless and all other brightwork are in sparkling condition. The attention to detail and exactness is ostensible in any area/section of the Thunderbird. I suppose the most enviable, “piece of work” would be the location of the automatic shifter. In 1964 Ford Thunderbird featured the shifter lever on the column. Actually throughout the late 1950’s all of the 1960’s and most of the 1970’s the car had a column mounted shifter, that’s it. Well, take a look inside and you will note the shifter is in the center console appearing as if it truly was ordered as such. Auction Estimate: $20,000-$25,000

The durable and reliable 8N tractors powered farm operations across the country and many are still in operation! A company called Funk Aircraft Company engineered a conversion for the 8N to a six cylinder, 226 ci proving very successful with farmers trying to increase production. The kit boosted the Ford tractors from a two-bottom to a three-bottom plow capacity and approximately 5000 8Ns were converted with the Funk conversion kit from 1943 to 1952. 1943 John Deere 1943 John Deere

1943 John Deere "AO" Orchard Tractor

Lot #30B (Sale Order 36 of 143)

1943 John Deere "AO" Orchard Tractor There were 3 main models of “A” model John Deere (JD) tractors during the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. The popular single front wheel row crop “A” is the iconic image of the JD tractor. The “AR” model was a 4 wheel model built lower and narrower. The “AO” “Orchard” model was similar but had specific features to accommodate use in orchards around and close to tree limbs. The seat and steering wheel were lowered, the exhaust was changed to a side outlet, it had shielded fenders and air intake was through a small round “mushroom” on the front hood. Independent turning brakes were added and electric start and lighting were offered as options. This JD has these options! The AO has solid rear wheels and spoked front wheels. During the War years, since resources were allocated to the war effort, only limited production was allowed with the 1942-1943 model year being the smallest production at only 35 “AO” tractors! These 35 tractors were sold both in the US and overseas. Few of the 1943 “AO” tractors remain and the tractor presented at auction is one of them! The 4 cylinder engine and manual transmission are in good working order. The starter and generator have been rebuilt. The rear tires are in very good running condition and the front tires are very acceptable. A parts catalog can be included with purchase of the tractor. The tractor is a favorite in parades and tractor shows.

1978 GMC Jimmy

Lot #33 (Sale Order 39 of 143)

1978 GMC Jimmy VIN: TKL188Z531316 Built off the famed C/K Platform of Chevrolet, the Blazer and Jimmy were produced and marketed against the Scout, Bronco and Jeeps. The GMC was very popular in the market since, for the first time, it married the off-road capabilities of the Scout with the "luxury" features like air conditioning and automatic transmissions routinely available on pickup trucks. This success touched off similar market presentations by other US manufacturers. The Jimmy presented at auction is a fine restored example of the golden era of American SUVs. All compromised metal was removed and replaced with new. The paint was matched to original and the body work and paint show very well. The front chrome bumper is new and the rear is in good conditionThe interior is original with bucket seats, center console and rear bench. The removable top is original to the Jimmy and, when removed, makes for a fun ride. The Jimmy is powered by a SBC 350 mated to a TH350. Full-time 4WD powers this ride both on and off road. The car has factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering and Cruise Control, Tilt Steering and an upgraded stereo system. The brakes were rebuilt and you'll ride on new 31" tires. 1935 Ford Pickup Truck

Lot #35 (Sale Order 41 of 143)

1935 Ford Pickup Truck VIN: 181235208 The owner states: “This is a stock 1935 Ford Pickup. It has a Ford flathead V-8, 3 speed transmission and the engine was build by Roger Nielson’s Flathead Salt Lake City. It has new old stock crank, pistons, valves, fuel pump, oil pump. Everything in the block was replaced with new old stock parts. It has hydraulic brakes, 12 volt electrical system, crank out front window, recently painted and distressed paint. I built this truck for our summer home in Idaho. I have had the summer home for quite a few years and nobody knew who I was. I started to drive this around the little town and I became an instant celebrity. We call it the Fishmore Lodge truck and had that painted on the side. I just drive it when I am up there. On the truck bed side rails, all the fly fishing shops in the area asked if they could put their sticker on the rails. It turned out to be pretty cool. I’ve had many happy hours in this truck.” Very Nice Restored Classic Pickup Truck. Auction Estimate: $30,000-$33,000

Lot #39 (Sale Order 45 of 143)

1960 Ford Sunliner Convertible VIN: OR55X122730 – 352ci V-8 – Automatic Transmission -New Top and Interior Presented at auction is a vintage 1960 Ford Sunliner Convertible. This is the only production year by Ford to relinquish the normal round tail lights in favor of the “moon shape” style in that era. As a result, these models are becoming increasingly scarce. This same production year elicited the longest and widest models ever produced by Ford. Under single ownership by an avid Ford collector for numerous years, this car has always been garaged out of the wind, sun and weather. A new top with a new pump, cylinders, and hydraulic lines was in stalled in 2018. The top has no stains, blemishes, scratches and/or fading. It is like it was installed yesterday! The interior upholstery was also gutted at the same time and professionally replaced with a matching red/white décor and matching carpet. The trunk interior was also professional replaced. In 2016, the mufflers and pipes from the engine down were replaced and are like new. The dry Utah climate has kept the exhaust system free from rust blemishes. Shocks on all four corners were replaced along with the exhaust, and a new windshield was installed in 2017. The transmission was overhauled in November, 2018. The original 352ci V-8 engine was overhauled prior to current owner acquisition, with the only work required during ownership was a fuel pump replacement.

The V-8 has had a fresh tune-up and the brake system has been overhauled with new wheel cylinders. A new battery fires this truck right up and the 272 Y-Block V-8 runs strong.

1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Roadster 1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Roadster

1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Roadster

Lot #45 (Sale Order 51 of 143)

1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Roadster VIN: UTP01458 Fully restored by the previous owner in an attractive blue and black livery, this exceptional 1930 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe Roadster benefits from a professionally rebuilt drivetrain. The stock Model A engine block was sleeved and had shell bearings installed in place of the original babbits. The rotating mass (including the crankshaft and flywheel) was balanced and provided with high-compression pistons, mild performance camshaft and a high-compression Police specification cylinder head (B-insignia casting) with stainless steel valves and hardened seats to allow use of unleaded fuel. The original popout ignition remains in a nod to period correct standards. Best of all, a Volvo overdrive, high-speed differential and rebuilt shock absorbers have been fitted, and turn signals added for safety. A luggage rack and rear mounted spare complete the package. A truly exceptional classic, this is a car to preserve and hand down to a future generation to show the beauty of a true American classic. Auction Estimate: $19,000-22,000 The owner states: “This is a 1930 Model A Roadster with a rumble seat, luggage rack and rear mounted spare tire. I have been a member of a Model A club in my home town for over 35 years. A few years ago, one of my good friends, in the Model A Club, had just finished restoring this car and got sick and thought he was going to die. I have always liked the car and he wanted to sell it. So, I bought it. It has a stock Model A block and has been sleeved and bearings instead of babbits. It has a balance crank shaft, high compression pistons and high compression police head. It has a Volvo over-drive, turn signals, slightly modified cam and a turned down and balanced fly wheel. This is an excellent running car and very fast. I never thought I would sell any of my cars, but it is getting to a time in my life that I need to liquidate. This has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. It’s time for someone else to be the caretaker of this beautiful car.”

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T

Lot #47 (Sale Order 53 of 143)

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T VIN: WS23L75147653 - Numbers Matching Car - VIN Code 440 High Performance Engine - Original Engine and Transmission Rebuilt with approx. 1000 miles - Factory Air Conditioning In 1967, to combat the strong line-up of GTOs, Chevelles and Gran Sports from GM, Dodge had to do something to get eyes on the Coronet. Their answer...the R/T! The styling and lines were favored as were the standard 440 cubic inch motor with 4bbl carburetor producing 375 HP! The standard A-727 TorqueFlight Automatic Transmission was upgraded to 4 clutches when mated to the Coronet R/T 440 engine. Underneath the car, the R/T benefitted from what Dodge called its Police Handling package--heavy-duty (.92-inch) torsion bars, ball joints, one-inch shock absorbers, a .94-inch front anti-roll bar, and six-leaf extra-heavy-duty rear springs. Inside, bucket seats and carpeting were integral to the R/T package. The exterior presented itself well with R/T badging, louvered scoops on the hood, a special grille treatment, tail lamps hidden in the louvered trim and fine body-side pinstriping is used to help emphasize the Coronet's Coke-bottle sides. The car presented at auction is fine example of 1967 Mopar. The car has had a re-paint and the exterior and white interior show very well. The numbers matching engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2010 with approx. 1000 miles since the professional rebuild. The suspension is stock to the car with the exception of a disc brake conversion on the front. The car came with Factory Air Conditioning but is not currently hooked up. The original parts are available.

1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet

Lot #52 (Sale Order 63 of 143)

1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet VIN: 8H179559 CCCA Full Classic 292 cid V-12 engine 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive Stunning blue over blue livery Following the end of the Second World War, Lincoln was determined to maintain its prominence at the top of the luxury market, where it wanted to compete against Alfa Romeo, Bentley and Delahaye, rather than Cadillac and Packard. When the first examples were introduced in 1940, they created a sensation with their smooth lines and prominent features. These were incredibly special vehicles that were hand assembled and finished to an extraordinarily high standard that rendered them true automotive heirlooms. Always one of the most expensive vehicles in America, Lincoln’s flagship was the majestic Cabriolet, which was equipped with a velvet smooth 292 cid 12-cylinder engine that was unique among American manufacturers. With only 452 examples sold, this was a limited production automobile that was so admired that it was displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in 1951. With recognition as a Full Classic from the Classic Car Club of America, this is an automobile with gravitas and grace, making it a true rarity among domestic offerings of the period. The Motorcar Offered Housed as part of a prominent collection, this American icon was purchased from an owner that had carefully stored the car for more than 30 years. After a mild refresh of the fuel and electrical system, this beauty burbled to life as if she had never left the road. The interior presents beautifully, complemented by the advanced hydraulic windows and convertible top. Fitted from new with an electric overdrive, this powerful cruiser can delight the driver while cosseting the fortunate passengers in the lap of luxury. A rare example from the pinnacle of American motoring, this stunning example is sure to generate accolades and attention wherever it goes.

1974 Zagato Zele 1000 1974 Zagato Zele 1000

1974 Zagato Zele 1000

Lot #58 (Sale Order 69 of 143)

1974 Zagato Zele 1000 Extremely Low Mile Original Car Never Been Registered Made in Milano, Italy The Zagato Zele 1000 (sold in the United States as the Elcar) was an electric micro-car with a fiberglass body manufactured by the Italian design company Zagato. Produced 1974-1976, the Zele was an unusual departure from Zagato's famous designs, which had long been known for their beauty and performance. The Zele, however, was high, square cornered and had a low top speed. They were produced in 7 colors (Orange-red, Brown, Dark blue, Pastel blue, White, Green and metal flake Blue) and the chassis and suspension were derived from the Fiat 500 and Fiat 124. The 1000 stands for the wattage of the motors respectively. Approximately 500 of these innovative cars were made, with a limited number exported to the U.S. The Zele employed a 4 position speed selector and a 2 position foot pedal providing six forward speeds, two reverse speeds and a range of approximately 50 miles (80 km). The example presented at auction was acquired 5 years ago from the son of the original owner. It was brought to Utah from New York some years ago, then tucked away in a garage until discovered by the current owner. The Odometer shows only 2 miles and the plastic protective sheeting from the factory covering the seats is still present! Batteries have never been installed in the holding trays, meaning the 2 miles on the odometer are from pushing the car. The car does show typical age issues such as headliner delaminating, couple of scuffs on driver side from the move from New York to Utah, etc. This is a perfect addition to any fine collection or...put it on the road! This Vehicle will be sold on a Bill Of Sale

1969 Chevrolet Corvette

Lot #61 (Sale Order 71 of 143)

1969 Chevrolet Corvette VIN: 194379S719298 Having received a complete re-design both inside and outside, the C3 Corvettes of the chrome bumper era remain a favorite of collectors and car enthusiasts. Stingray remained the cars identifier, and 1969 was the first year of the 350 V-8 being available. The optional manual transmission was typically mated to a posi-traction rear-end and 1969 was the only year the front fender vent trim was available. The coupes in the model year had removable roof panels which were quite popular. The interior received upgrades including ignition switch moving to the column from the dash, revised door panels allowing for improved shoulder room, headrests became standard and the steering was changed from 16? to 15? to permit easier entry and exit. The car presented at auction is a well preserved example of the iconic Stingray. The 350 V-8 was rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago and an MSD electronic ignition was installed. The 350 motor is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and posi-traction rearend. The car runs and drives good and presents itself well.

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible L71 427 Big Block

Lot #65 (Sale Order 75 of 143)

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible L71 427 Big Block Vehicle Identification Number 194677S101908 Very original numbers matching example 427 cid – 435 hp V-8 engine 4-speed manual transmission With the Jaguar E-Type and Ferrari 250 garnering the bulk of attention from the motoring press, Chevrolet responded with a complete overhaul of the Corvette that was dubbed the Sting Ray. Produced from 1963 to 1967 as both a roadster and coupe, it was smaller, more powerful, and wore a futuristic fiberglass body penned by Larry Shinoda. To improve road holding and ride quality, Chief Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov ordered development of an all-new ladder-frame chassis with an independent rear suspension that allowed it to compete with the best sports cars from Europe. The end for the C2 arrived in 1967, but the successful second generation would leave on a high note with a freshened styling that made it a sleeker package overall. Five slots appeared in the fenders and Big Block cars bore a contrasting colour stinger on the hood, hinting of the potency that lay underneath. As the last representative of a vaunted line, the final year of the C2 Corvette is a blue chip collectible that is certain to continue appreciating in value. The Motorcar Offered A superb numbers matching example from the final year of C2 Corvette production, this L71 Big Block still wears its original lacquer finish that exhibits a wonderful patina, bearing only a few thin spots, cracks, and blemishes. Powered by the iconic 427 cid V-8 motor with an aluminium radiator, this is a strong runner that can be driven with abandon without fear of overheating. The interior, electrical system and brightwork are all in excellent condition and the exterior finish offers a wonderful contrast to the number of trailer queens on the market. An American legend, this is a sound investment that can be driven and displayed with equal pleasure, free from the worry that accompanies some over-restored examples. Estimate: $130,000-150,000

1974 Pontiac Firebird TransAm

Lot #67 (Sale Order 77 of 143)

1974 Pontiac Firebird TransAm VIN: 2V87Y4N171334 – One Owner Car Since New - Complete Frame-off Restoration – 455 V-8 Engine – TH400 Automatic Transmission – Restored to Absolute Original Specifications - Highly Documented Car The second generation Pontiac Firebird Trans Ams are coming into their own in the collector car market. The 1974 Pontiac Trans Am continued a strong tradition of strength in the muscle car market and featured a redesigned "shovel-nose" front end and new wide "slotted" taillights. The car was featured as the ride of choice for James Garner as Jim Rockford in the pilot movie and first season of the Rockford Files. For the 1974 model year, over 73,000 Pontiac Firebirds were produced, with only 4648 produced as a Trans Am with the 455ci 8-cylinder engine. The Trans Am presented at auction is a documented one-owner car complete with all paperwork from when the car was new. The build sheet verifies the original build of this car and that is exactly how it shows today. The car was purchased in Utah and remained a life-long dry climate car. Over 20 years ago, the car was put in climate controlled storage where it resided untouched for 17 years. When brought out of storage the car showed only 53,000 miles and was in good original condition. The owners, showing great pride in ownership, undertook a complete frame-off restoration of this Trans Am. Over $48,000 was invested in the build with everything completed to an original, very high standard. The engine was removed and broken down. The block showed no wear, was re-ringed and new bearings installed, and retains the original 455 ci. The transmission also was broken down but merely needed new seals installed. All drive and suspension components were replaced to OE standards. The car was completely disassembled with all original sheet metal retained and used in the rebuild. The body presents lazer straight and the reassembled car is 100% correct according to the build sheet, using only OE parts. The 2 1/2 year restoration produced an astounding "new" 1974 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

1958 Devin SS Race Car

Lot #71 (Sale Order 80 of 143)

1958 Devin SS Race Car VIN: UTP6858 This 1958 Devin SS bodied race car features a competition 331-inch Chevrolet V8 engine with Dual Holly carburetors estimated around 450 horsepower and mated to a Super T10 4-speed gearbox. The genuine SS body has no known period race history and changed hands several times before the car was finally assembled 13 years ago by vintage racer Scott Zerby. Zerby raced the car at various events including the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen and the Kohler International Challenge at Road America before selling it a prominent Midwest collector. Blacksmith Garage purchased the vehicle from this collector in 2015 to be “eye candy” for our showroom. The purposeful interior presents nicely and features carpet for a more civilized cockpit setting. Correct Stuart Warner gauges are fully functional, and well-integrated bucket seats provide plenty of room for a co-driver. Safety equipment includes five-point race harnesses, electrical cutoff, and a full fire suppression system with stainless bottle. The lightweight body sits on a tube chassis, supported by Austin Healey 100 front suspension, AFCO racing shocks at all corners, and large 5? springs with NASCAR-style weight jacks. The small-block 331 Chevy engine directs power through a Ford 9” rear end with adjustable “J Bar”. Dual Carter carburetors are installed on a period style intake manifold with a Corvette oil fill tube and closed script valve covers. Tube headers lead to the straight side pipe exhaust, and the seller notes the car has an awesome V8 exhaust note. Stopping is achieved via front and rear Wilwood discs, and the car is fitted with a large 24+ gallon fuel cell with twin Holley fuel pumps. The new owner may wish to adjust the setup to their driving style. The car comes with its more recent log books documenting its eligibility at historic racing events. Bill Devin was an exotic car dealer and race car driver in the 1950’s and the mastermind behind the Devin SS. He set out to produce a race car that offered the style and performance of a Ferrari but at a price that was more affordable. At the time, a typical Devin SS could be had for $6000 while a comparable Ferrari would fetch $12,000 dollars or more. With its 331 cubic inch Chevy power plant and a tube chassis which Devin sourced from engineer Malcolm MacGregor of Northern Ireland the car became an instant success. The car scored its first win with Pete Woods in 1959 at the Cal Club C-Modified Championship. From that point on the Devin SS became a force to be reckoned with, scoring many important victories in the SCCA C-modified racing class in the late 50’s and early 60’s The Car is ready to race and with standard race weekend preparation, the car should be very competitive, unique and great looking on the track. Alternatively, this car has been registered in Utah and is street legal.

1959 Chevrolet Corvette VIN: J59S101861 This 1959 Corvette has had but a few owners in it's lifetime, with the current owner being the caretaker of it for the last 49 years! The car underwent a complete, professional frame off, rotisserie restoration in 2005 and is a very fine representation of one of the most widely recognized and appreciated collector cars on the market today. The car may very well be a one of one given that it appears to have been special ordered from the factory in an Ivory Coast White, which was a color available to the Chevrolet line of cars. While the common "white" color on a Corvette was "Classic Cream", it was discovered during the restoration on the car that the color written on the trunk partition stated "Ivory". The color was matched and the car remains the correct and original factory presentation. The Corvette comes with both a soft-top and the removable hard-top and the mechanics and road-worthiness are very good. This is a must have Corvette sure to please the eyes and provide classic motoring pleasure long into the future. - Numbers Matching Car - 283 V8, 245 HP - Dual 4bbl carburetors - Fuelie Heads with solid lifters - Positraction rearend - Newer radio with the original Wunderbar radio available - Frost Blue interior with new carpet and seat covers - New Chrome - 15" rims with Coker whitewall tires - 15 Padded Steering Wheel with the original steering wheel available and in good condition

1973 Candies & Hughes TF 41 Top Fuel Dragster 1973 Candies & Hughes TF 41 Top Fuel Dragster

1973 Candies & Hughes TF 41 Top Fuel Dragster

Lot #80A (Sale Order 90 of 143)

1973 Candies & Hughes TF 41 Top Fuel Dragster Presented at auction is the restored original Candies & Hughes #41 Top Fuels Dragster that established national racing provenance in 1974. The car has a storied history including racing success in 1974, disassembly in 1975, then sold at some point thereafter. The Engine and Chassis surface in Salt Lake City having followed an unknown route over 25 years. Though the car was campaigned in the South East and nationally, at some point in its history, this famed Woody Gilmore chassis and highly esteemed Kieth Black Racing Aluminum Racing Engine (Serial #002!) ended up in the rafter of a garage in Salt Lake City. Upon discovery and acquisition, the current owner undertook a meticulous professional restoration project drawing upon the knowledge of the original racing team including the owner, Paul Candies and the driver, Dave Settles as well as the Crew Chief of the race team. The dragster was restored to its original 1974 Candies & Hughes racing conformation and fitment. This historic dragster is the restored example from the winning combination of the final Woody Gilmore Race Engineered Chassis and the newly developed Keith Black Racing aluminum hemi racing engine. Drag Racing team owner Paul Candies put these two rare components together in 1974 to create the Candies & Hughes #41 top Fuels Dragster. This winning formula produced excellent results in the following: 1974 – March - NHRA Gator Nationals, Gainseville, FL - Top Fuels Eliminator win with driver Dave Settles beating Gary Beck in the final round. 1974 – October – NHRA Supernationals, Ontario, CA – Top Fuels Eliminator Runner-up status in at the NHRA Supernationals in Ontarrio, CA with driver Dave Settles narrowly losing to Don Garlits in the final round. 1974 – November – NHRA World Championship - Dave Settles, driver of the Candies & Hughes #41 Car, completes the season at #2 in points behind world Champion Gary Beck 1974 – November – NHRA South Central Division – the Candies & Hughes #41 wins the actively contested Top Fuel Eliminator Season Championship The Chassis: In 1973, Woody Gilmore Racing of Long Beach, CA decides to abandon building dragster chassis and focus on chassis to undergird the growing “funny car” class. He makes just 4 final dragster chassis, two of which had rack and pinion steering. Through research, it is determined that the chassis in the drag car presented auction is the rack and pinion cars chassis used in the Candies & Hughes #41 car. Following additional research, the other chassis has not surfaced and is assumed to have been destroyed. Engine: When assembling the #41 car, Candies and Hughes agreed to act as a test vehicle for the newly-developed Keith Black Aluminum Hemi (KBAH) race engine. The team acquired the 2nd block produced, with the first block retained by Keith Black Racing. The engine on this car, through research, is determined to the be the original #002 aluminum cylinder block, internals and twin-spark plug heads. This engine produced the 1st Top Fuel race wins for the KBAH engine! The engine was professionally prepped and did run on an engine stand prior to installation. The Build: Following extensive research and a long search for original or era-correct parts, the car was assembled using original pictures and publications featuring the car in 1974 as well as interviews with Paul Candies and Leonard Hughes. Of added provenance, original-to-the-car body panels and components were discovered, refinished and used in the extensive restoration project. The car was completed in 2013 with the body panels sporting fresh paint per later Candies & Hughes race car hues and – as the original – Gold Leaf Lettering. This is a chance to see and own a true, storied, NHRA Top Fuel Dragster with a noteworthy chassis, the documented first winning Keith Black Race Hemi restored to original.

1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car

Lot #82 (Sale Order 93 of 143)

1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car VIN: 1Z8748S900949 - Low mile original car showing 30K miles - L82 Engine - Automatic Transmission - New Silver Carpet and Leather Upholstery To celebrate the first quarter century of Corvettes, a completely re-designed body was rolled out in 1978 with new “fastback” styling. These changes enhanced the Corvette’s sleek silhouette, and the new and improved rear window not only allows for a cleaner styling profile, but it also improved visibility for the driver. To pay tribute to the success of the brand, the 1978 Corvette was the official Pace Car for the Indy 500 that year. The 1978 Pace Car has distinctive black/silver two -tone paint with a red pin-stipe. Under the hood you'll find the L82 engine, a 350 Cu. In. V8. This engine features a higher lift camshaft, special cylinder heads with larger valving, impact-extruded pistons and a forged crankshaft with 4-bolt main bearing caps, plus finned aluminum rocker arm covers. You'll also note the detail in chrome under the hood including Chase Elliot's signature on the air cleaner! This motor was re-worked from a blown head gasket a number of years ago but is back to tip-top shape. The interior and exterior present very well. The two tone paint is in very good condition and the Indy badging/decals look excellent! The car comes with the original mirrored glass T-Tops as well as solid black T-Top inserts. The interior benefits from new leather upholstery and new silver carpet. The tires original to the car from the factory are still available with the car! This is a must-see and must-have car!

1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk

1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk

Lot #83 (Sale Order 94 of 143)

1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk VIN: 6I02974 The Golden Hawk, produced from 1956-1958, was the precursor to the muscle cars of the 1960s. The stylish, pillarless two-door hardtop coupe outperformed the Chrysler 300B, Ford Thunderbird and the Chevrolet Corvette in many road-test categories. The 289 engine was enhanced with a McCulloch supercharger which was coupled with the sleek interior and exterior design and relatively light body. These cars came standard with a padded dash, a safety feature well ahead of it’s time. In 1958, two US Air Force pilots were stationed in Japan and ordered and had delivered to Japan, two 1958 Copper Hawks. The Copper Hawk was a color variable and these two were the only examples produced in that color. The car presented at auction was a single owner car until recently and was meticulously maintained. It comes with extensive records of anything that was ever done to the car. For driving pleasure, this Copper hawk was fitted with power steering and Air Conditioning, which are the only modifications to the car. This particular car is reported to have driven to and attended every state Studebaker Drivers Club meet. The car shows and drives very well.

1969 MG B MK II Roadster

Lot #84 (Sale Order 95 of 143)

1969 MG B MK II Roadster VIN: GHN4U160927G - Low mile, original car - Beautiful Primrose Yellow - Original Black Interior Upholstery and Carpet MG, developed and manufactured originally by the British Motor Company and later by the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, has provided distinctive British motoring pleasure since the 1920s. The MGB replaced the MGA in 1963 and was in production until 1980. The 1969 MGB Roadster remains a favorite of British sports car collectors still today. The MGB, among many of its innovations, was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger. The car, instead of the traditional body-on-frame construction, was built utilizing a monocoque structure. The 1969 model was outfitted with the five-bearing, 1,798 cc powerplant rated at 95 horsepower with peak power coming at 5400 rpms. Fuel is fed by twin 1.5-inch SU carburetors. The four-speed gearbox was a full synchromesh unit that proved durable when mated with the standard MGB B-Series engine. The car presented at auction is a fine original example. Under current ownership for 7+ years by an esteemed collector, this car shows approx. 30K miles which are believed, but not verified, to be original. The paint is original to the car as is the interior. Both show very well. A new top was installed 7 years ago and the car looks great whether the top is up or down! On the road, the car runs very well and shifts smoothly through the gears. The mechanics have been well maintained and the car is a pleasure to drive. British motoring at its finest!

1974 Land Rover Lightweight 88 RHD 1974 Land Rover Lightweight 88 RHD

1974 Land Rover Lightweight 88 RHD

Lot #99 (Sale Order 111 of 143)

1974 Land Rover Lightweight 88 RHD This Land Rover Lightweight was one of 14,000 produced between 1968 and 1984 and designed specifically to be transported by cargo helicopter, resulting in a smaller footprint than the commercial series III models. First designed in the early 60’s the Royal Marines and British Army required a vehicle that could be carried by air. They had taken delivery of the Westland Wessex helicopter which could carry an 1140 kg (2500 lb) load slung beneath. The smallest Land Rover available at the time was a Series IIA 88 inch (2235 mm) wheelbase, which was too heavy. A new modification to the basic Series IIA was devised by making many body components easily detachable and removing many non-essential items. The result was the Land Rover Half-Ton, known widely as the Lightweight or Airportable. From its authentic markings, shovels, pick axe, and canvas top this mountain rescue Lightweight looks just as it would have in the 1970’s. This handsome 1979 Lightweight is in great condition inside and out. ENGINE: This right hand drive Lightweight is fitted with the standard 2.25L inline four military petrol engine that starts easily, runs great and is very reliable. You would not be afraid to take this vehicle into the back country. CHASSIS: The undercarriage is solid with very minor surface rust. EXTERIOR: The body panels are strait and rust free. Paint is a thick green military paint and there are some areas that are chipping on the bumper and windscreen frame as shown in pictures. The doors are in great shape and have zero rust in the panels as well as the bottom edge of the door and window frame. INTERIOR: The seats both front and in the rear are in excellent shape. All gauges switches and controls work as they should. The Canvas top is in excellent shape with clear plastic windows. This amazing piece of history would be a great addition to any collection.

1977 Jeep CJ-7 1977 Jeep CJ-7

1977 Jeep CJ-7

Lot #113 (Sale Order 123 of 143)

1977 Jeep CJ-7 VIN: J7A93EH022623 Few brands on earth generate as much dedication and commitment as the Jeep® Brand. In every corner of the globe on every day, there are unique displays of passion from our owners and fans. When you’re a part of the Jeep Brand Community, you’re part of something bigger. Since 1941, Jeep® Brand vehicles have inspired men to dream and to dare. The brand is built on the pillars of freedom, adventure, authenticity and passion. It’s an unwavering commitment to strength and meaningful engineering that has helped forge an extraordinary, uncommon bond between Jeep vehicles and their owners. Every April, thousands of die-hard Jeep® Brand fans descend upon Moab, Utah to celebrate the off-road life during Easter Jeep Safari. It’s an amazing opportunity for Jeep Brand designers and engineers to meet with our most die-hard fans and to introduce new vehicles and concepts on some of the country’s most rugged trails. Take this Jeep to Moab and be the envy of the event. It’s time to let someone else enjoy this Beauty. The Jeep and the Trailer are the result of a 8 year Frame off resto-mod project. There are less than 100 miles on this vehicle since the rebuild. The frame and most Chassis parts are powder coated for extreme durability. The rest of the vehicle was lovingly put together piece by piece with the idea to keep this vehicle as close to being all AMC as possible. The beauty started out as a Renegade with 80,000 miles on it. The vehicle was purchase in Utah but I was told spent most its life in Arizona, keeping it away from the salt and rust Utah Jeeps suffer from. The Jeep is painted with the Metallic Mango Tango. With its custom Hood scoops and clean body that is straight as an arrow. You will just stand back and look in amazement. The bottom of the Tub and Inside and bottom of the Trailer are also Rhino Lined for Maximum protection and durability. This Jeep Glows in the Summer Sun. It also has a Hardtop that has the last set of OEM glass I would find on the planet. I paid over $800 for the set and that was a bargain. No expense was spared building this beautiful rig. The Vehicle features a V8 401 bored 30 over and estimated to produce 375-400HP. The engine was built and assembled by Clark Parker owner of American Machine an he is considered one of the best Engine builders in the state of Utah. And he is very knowledgeable in the AMC space. It features a truck Avenger Holley Carb and Edelbrock Performer Air-Gap aluminum manifold. This all sounds so good with the edition of the Hooker Headers. Next the drivetrain features Dana 44’s front and rear with ARB Air Lockers. This will get you in an out of anything you have the nerve to 4x4 through, and will more that hold up to the owner of the 401 V8. The transmission is a Factory Jeep t18 mounted to the time tested Dana 20 transfer case. The Interior is from Corbeau Seats and the front seats even have seat heaters! The ride will blow your mind. The springs are from Tera flex and are the soft ride 2.5 inch Wrangler springs. They take the bounce out of the Jeep and it rides as good as my 2018 Jeep JL. Everything that could be found new on the vehicle was replaced with new parts. The Jeep has Full and Half doors that will have never been installed on the Jeep but will be finished and included in the sale. This vehicle is one of a kind. Along with the Bantam Military trailer you are getting a package deal that would be very hard to duplicate for less than $80-100K. Don’t miss out on a wonderful vehicle.

Lot #114 (Sale Order 124 of 143)

1969 Ford Bronco VIN: U15G1F3947 GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Ford Bronco is an iconic piece of American automotive history that emerged in 1966. This 1969 Ford Bronco Pickup Cab was restored 10 years ago and is a numbers matching truck which retains its original engine and transmission. ENGINE: The 302 ci engine is original, starts up with no problem and runs very well. There are dual fuel tanks on this truck including a manual valve switch to change over tanks. Additionally, there is a switch on the dash that allows the gas gauge to switch over and indicate the fuel level of the active tank. DRIVETRAIN: The 302 ci engine is mated to a 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission. The 4wd is functional and there is also a functioning PTO on the transfer case which can be used to power a winch. This Bronco has a Dana 30 front axle and 9’ Ford rear axle with 4.10:1 ratios. SUSPENSION: This Bronco is equipped with coil spring front suspension and a leaf spring rear suspension. The factory painted white steel wheels with full size hub caps are wrapped in new radial 235/75-15 tires and drum brakes on both the front and back. The vehicle is rust free except for some typical rust in the passenger side lower windshield frame, inner front fenders and some bubbling in the lower portion of the tailgate. The trucks body is straight and the chrome bumpers accent the truck nicely. The painted metal in the bed is free from rust and the paint presents nicely. 1932 Ford Custom Street Rod

Lot #118 (Sale Order 128 of 143)

1932 Ford Custom Street Rod VIN: 181299243 This impressive Little Deuce Roadster was meticulously massaged, fit and finished dipped into a vat of Deep Black PPG then cut and buffed to a blinding shine. The only thing more eerie than the depth of the paint are the ghostly blue flames. This engine is a TRUE fully blueprinted 355 ci four bolt main Chevrolet V8. It is the creation of master race engine builder and machinist Steve Flatt, of Steve Flatt racing engines. It was purpose built to take advantage of all the power potential from the polished BDS 6-71 blower with its twin matched Demon carbs. Peak performance was insured by a polished Callies crank shaft, 8.5 to 1 custom JE pistons, H beam rods, custom Comp Cam ( the grind is the builders secret ) roller tipped rocker arms and hydraulic roller lifters. The heads are high end after market aluminum with custom valves and triple springs, they have been hand ported and polished, cc’d then port matched to the intake manifold. MSD lights the fire. Sandersen long tube headers collect into a 3? custom exhaust. The transmission is a bullet proof corvette 700-R4 built to handle the 750 hp. The frame and suspension are custom by well known frame builder and fabricator Mark Lockhart, of Lockhart Enterprises. It is fully boxed and x-membered. The IFS is polished stainless by TCI with adjustable coil over shocks. The rear suspension is a chrome 4 link with panard bar and adjustable coil over shocks. All the power is put to the road via a Currie ford 9? that sports a polished center section, big axle bearings, 4/11 gears and posi. And of course 4 wheel disc brakes. There is more and it is all good but I have said enough. This car is fun, fast and a real head turner. I think anyone would be proud to be seen in and own this car at twice the price. I know I am !

Four speed transmission, Dana 300 transfer case, and differentials have been serviced. All seals replaced. New brakes, pads and rotors, breaded brake lines. New Warn hubs. 1966 Ford Bronco Roadster

Lot #135 (Sale Order 142 of 143)

1966 Ford Bronco Roadster VIN: U13FL734371 This 1966 roadster is a first 5 days of production vehicle. Only 4060 roadsters were ever made and less than 1000 are known to have survived or have been found. This 1966 is period correct, correct color poppy red. The roadster has undergone complete restoration. New floor pans, rear passenger quarter panel, hood and tailgate have been replaced. These roadsters are a true classic. This is an amazing example and a fun bronco to add to any collection as well as to drive around, parades. Is the bronco a concourse restoration, no but she is beautiful, looks and runs and drives as she should. We rebuilt the engine, added a new Centech wiring harness, new seats, period correct items, hubcaps, paint, door inserts, period dash pad, and much more.
