WELCOME TO THE AUCTION Lot #1 (Sale Order 1 of 591) Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. 2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find Lot #33 (Sale Order 26 of 591) 2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find. Many people ask why the 2008 set is so much higher priced than the other near dates. It had a slightly lower mintage, but not drastically. Well I just researched this as I too was very curious and here is the answer. The mint shut down sales of the set in June, 5 months earlier than usual and although the mintage of 1.5 million pieces seems near par with the 2-3 million pieces of other near dates, with the mint shutting down sales and many folks who were collecting the whole series, (this was the final piece to the 50 state quarter series) getting shut out, they immediately went to the secondary market. But most of the 1.5 million sold by the mint went to collectors who bought them to keep and did not sell them into the secondary market. So you basically had a shortage of about 1/2 to 1 million sets below demand. The Set contains 4 Proof Presidential Dollars Including the Inaugural first 4, Washington through Madison, 5 Proof State Quarters, a Proof Kennedy Half Dollar, a Proof Roosevelt Dime, as well as 3 additional Proof coins Including the Sacagawea Proof Dollar coin. Complete with Original Packaging and COA. Estimated Value $50

***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1895 & 's', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #168 (Sale Order 123 of 591) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1895 & 's', Better than average circ. Great Original Roll of Morgan Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Automatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faintly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1895, and the other end has a near uncirculated 's' San Francisco Mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Your choice to open the shotgun roll or leave it as is, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away lot.

2011 United States Mint Uncirculated 28-Coin Set Lot #169 (Sale Order 124 of 591) 2011 United States Mint Uncirculated 28-Coin Set . This is a sought after set. The 2011 US Mint Uncirculated Coin Set contains 28 coins (two folders of 14 coins each). One each from the Philadelphia and Denver mints, for a total of 28 coins. There are 2 of each of the following coins in this set, both the P & D Mint including the highly sought after President Dollars. After six years of utilizing a special satin finish for the annual mint set, the United States Mint switched to using a brilliant finish for coins included within the 2011 Mint Set. According to the Mint, the reason for the change was to create more aesthetically pleasing coins, as the previous finish made contact marks from coin on coin contact more apparent. The new brilliant finish was produced by striking coins on special presses using greater than typical force to create an intricately detailed image. Despite higher strike quality and more lustrous surfaces, the coins are typically not differentiated as separate issues from standard circulation strikes. A total of 28 different coins were included in the set. The historically high number of coins in the set was the result of the multiple designs issued under the America the Beautiful Quarters and the Presidential Dollars Programs. Each set included the following coins: 2011 P&D Lincoln Cents, 2011 P&D Jefferson Nickels, 2011 P&D Roosevelt Dimes, 2011 P&D America the Beautiful Quarters (Gettysburg, Glacier, Olympic, Vicksburg, Chickasaw), 2011 P&D Kennedy Half Dollars, 2011 P&D Presidential Dollars (Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James Garfield), 2011 P&D Native American Dollars This set comes in its full original US Mint packaging. A very sought after set. Estimated Value $50.

*Auction Highlight* 1915-s Panama Pacific Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice+ Unc By USCG (fc) Lot #209 (Sale Order 156 of 591) ***Auction Highlight*** 1915-s Panama Pacific Old Commem Half Dollar 50c Graded Choice+ Unc By USCG. Exceptionally Rare Commemorative. The Pan Pac was Minted Along with 4 Other Coins to Commemorate the Completion of the Panama Canal and Distributed at the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco which also Celebrated the Renewal of San Francisco since the Great Fire. When Examining the Pan Pac Half Dollar, Note that there is a Problem with Pan-Pac Halves in its Strike: Weakness is often Evident on Columbia’s Head, Cap, Arm and Body, also on the Eagle's Breast Feathers and Claws. Occasionally, Coins are seen with a Rim Indentation Near the Periphery on Each Side; this is a Mint Caused Problem and Should Not Be Factored Into the Grade. When Grading Lightly Circulated Examples, Friction is First Evident on Columbia's Shoulder and on the Eagle's Breast.

1885-o REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Grades GEM Unc Lot #270 (Sale Order 206 of 591) 1885-o REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Grades GEM Unc. This coin is from the LaVere Redfield collection better known as “the Redfield Hoard.” When he died in 1974, his estate was worth about $100 million, and in the basement of his modest home, behind a false wall was a hoard of over 411,000 silver dollars. Most of the silver dollars were Morgan Dollars, and to a much lesser extent there were Peace Dollars too. Many of them were still in their original Mint bags._Just to give an idea of the size of 411,000 silver dollars; it is a weight of about_11-tons. LaVere Redfield has been called thrifty, frugal, and eccentric. After the Stock Market Crash of 1929, _Redfield arrives in Los Angeles, CA with his life's savings, and had decided it_was a good time to invest in Oil and Stocks. From California, Redfield moved to_Reno, Nevada, and began to invest in Real Estate. It seems he would take as much of his liquid assets as possible and _convert it into silver dollars whenever possible. That is most likely why _he moved to Reno. With all the Casinos using silver Dollars, the Banks _always had a ready supply. Estimates tell us that at one time LaVere Redfield had amassed over 600,000 _silver dollars. In 1963, his house was burglarized, and it was reported _that approximately 100,000 of the silver dollars were stolen. That is _probably what encouraged him to build a false wall in front of his coal bin. _That way, the only thing he had to do was to just drop the bags down the Coal _Shute. If one would venture a guess, they would say that Redfield was not _a numismatist, and they would be correct, but he did want his silver dollars _unused and in original Mint bags whenever possible. Behind the wall was 400 bags of silver _dollars, most of which had been sitting there for decades. When the coins were put up for auction, there _were so many coins the lot could not be properly examined by the potential _bidders, and when the hammer fell Steve Markoff of A-Mark Corporation purchased _the entire lot for $7.3 million. It has since been estimated that the _wholesale value of the Redfield Hoard of silver dollars was about $20 million. _Paramount International Coin Corporation in Ohio was one of the main company’s used to sell the hoard. They packaged the Redfield silver dollars in a hard plastic holder with a _cardboard label surrounding the coin reading either "A Silver Dollar from the _Redfield Collection," or "US Silver Dollar, Paramount International Coin Corp." The Redfield Hoard created quite a stir within the coin community. It _is not, nor has it ever been just about the coins, but rather it is the story _that surrounds the coins. That is what makes it so exciting. Paramount graded this coin Mint State 65

1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc Lot #275 (Sale Order 211 of 591) 1927-p Peace Dollar $1 Grades Select Unc. The 27-p is the big sleeper of numismatics in my opinion. It has the 2nd lowest mintage in the whole Peace dollar series. Lower than the 34-s, the 21-p, yet it does not command its proper value. Good coin to own multiple of and save, in my opinion, but if you've been coming to our auctions for a while you will have seen that this has always been my opinion.

***Auction Highlight*** 1885-o REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms65 by Paramount (fc) Lot #337 (Sale Order 272 of 591) ***Auction Highlight*** 1885-o REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms65 by Paramount. This coin is graded ms65 by Paramount and recertified ms64 by NGC.

The 'p' run has: 2 Franklin halves, 2 Washington quarters, 2 Roosevelt Dimes, 2 Jefferson nickels and 2 lincoln cents; the 'd' run has 2 Washington quarters, 2 Roosevelt dimes, 2 Jefferson nickels and 2 Lincoln cents. (There was no Franklin half 'd' mint); the 's' mint has 2 Roosevelt dimes and 2 lincoln cents. Those were the only 2 San Francisco minted coins that year. The coins are in the original cardboard holders with attached paper flaps as issued by the mint. Each holder contains two examples of each coin from the mint where is was made. ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1892 & 'cc', Better than average circ (fc) Lot #392 (Sale Order 324 of 591) ***Auction Highlight*** Morgan dollar roll ends 1892 & 'cc', Better than average circ. The Two ends showing are the obverse of an 1892, and the other end has a 'cc' Carson City Mint Reverse.

2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find Lot #419 (Sale Order 348 of 591) 2008 United States Mint Silver Proof Set - 14 Pieces - Extremely low mintage, hard to find.

1927-p REDFIELD Hoard Peace Dollar $1 Grades BU Lot #442 (Sale Order 371 of 591) 1927-p REDFIELD Hoard Peace Dollar $1 Grades BU.

***Auction Highlight*** 1888-p REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms65 by Paramount (fc) Lot #514 (Sale Order 436 of 591) ***Auction Highlight*** 1888-p REDFIELD Hoard Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms65 by Paramount.
