In 2002 the MG TF was released, and named after the MG TF Midget of the 1950s. Various cosmetic changes include a revised grille, redesigned front headlights, bumpers, side air-intake grills, rear boot, etc. Production was suspended in 2005 when MG Rover collapsed. The vendor states that this car has had 2 owners from new. Vauxhall Viva SL Vauxhall Viva SL

Vauxhall Viva SL

Lot #106 (Sale Order 6 of 71)

The HB Viva was announced in September 1966 and sold until 1970. It was a larger car than the HA, and featured "Coke bottle styling". It had the same basic engine as the HA, but enlarged to 1,159 cc, but with the added weight of the larger body the final drive gearing was reduced from 3.9:1 to 4.1:1 to keep the nippy performance. The HB used a completely different suspension design from the HA, having double-wishbone and coil springs with integrated telescopic dampers at the front, and trailing arms and coil springs at the rear. Lateral location and anti-squat of the rear axle was achieved using upper trailing arms mounted at approximately 45° fixed to lugs at the top of the differential. Both front and rear could also be fitted with optional anti-roll bars. The HB set new standards for handling in its class as a result of the adoption of this suspension design, where many of its contemporaries stuck with leaf springs and MacPherson struts. The example offered here is described by the vendor to be in excellent all round condition with over 35 MOTs which appear to verify the 26,000 miles showing on the odometer. This car comes with only 3 former keepers and a large history file with many old Service Bills, over 150 pictures of work carried out, its original Hand Book, and a build sheet and five advertising brochures. Minilite style wheels are fitted to the car but the original steel wheels and hub caps are included in the sale. A superb starter classic, or for the serious low mileage collector.

Ford Capri 2.0 ltr Ghia Ford Capri 2.0 ltr Ghia

Ford Capri 2.0 ltr Ghia

Lot #107 (Sale Order 7 of 71)

The Capri Mk III was introduced in March 1978, and sold very well initially. The new styling cues, most notably the black "Aeroflow" grille and the "sawtooth" rear lamp lenses echoed the new design language being introduced at that time by Ford of Europe's chief stylist Uwe Bahnsen across the entire range. Similar styling elements were subsequently introduced in the Cortina, the Escort Mk III and the Granada. In addition, the Mk III featured improved aerodynamics, leading to improved performance and economy over the Mk II, and the trademark quad headlamps were introduced. The bonnet's leading edge was pulled down over the top of the headlamps, making the appearance more aggressive. At launch the existing engine and transmission combinations of the Capri II were carried over, with the 3.0 S model regarded as the most desirable model, although the softer, more luxurious Ghia derivative with automatic, rather than manual transmission, was the bigger seller of the two V6-engined models. The vendor states that this Capri has been in the same family for many years. The property of an elder member of the family, it has been stored for years in their garage, and has now been re-commissioned and has just passed its MOT. The car drives extremely well, and is very usable and quiet. It features the original carpets and seats in great condition, the body is very straight, paintwork is generally very good, and with a little TLC this Capri could be made immaculate. A new water pump was fitted after storage as the bearings had dried out.The car has matching chassis and engine numbers, and is definitely one for the future. It comes with spare keys, all documents, a workshop manual and original Ford Capri Owners Manual.

Jaguar XJS V12 HE Cabriolet Jaguar XJS V12 HE Cabriolet

Jaguar XJS V12 HE Cabriolet

Lot #108 (Sale Order 8 of 71)

The XJS was launched in 1975, and whilst the fabulous V12 engine could deliver outstanding performance, its thirst for petrol was legendary. This promoted the first big change for the model, which was the new HE or High Efficiency engine in 1981. This combined with the much longer final drive, gave the XJS much better fuel economy, which was bearable. The Jaguar XJS offers its owners a slice of motoring history, defying critics to become one of the world's most successful GT cars. From the introduction of the HE engine in 1982, the 3.6 AJ6 engine in 1984, which expanded to four litres in 1989, the Cabriolet in 1985, the full Convertible in 1988 and the Face Lift model in 1993 to the final commemorative model in 1995, the XJS was continuously developed during its 20 year production life. The vendor states that this car has had 6 previous owners, but has been family owned since 1998 by the last 4. There is Service History from 1987 to 2001, then the car was put in storage until 2011, when it was recommissioned, MOT'd and Serviced. It was then put back into storage until 2016 when it was MOT'd again and then put back in storage until it was MOT'd again in 2017.The paintwork is good, with a few age related marks, and the car is very solid underneath. The Targa tops have recently been recovered, and also a new window stitched into the rear hood. The mileometer stopped working in 2011 but car has only covered a maximum of 100 miles since then.

Citreon CX25 GTI Turbo 2 Citreon CX25 GTI Turbo 2

Citreon CX25 GTI Turbo 2

Lot #109 (Sale Order 9 of 71)

The Citron CX is an executive car produced by the French automaker from 1974 to 1991. Citron sold nearly 1.2 million CXs during its 16 years of production. The CX was voted European Car of the Year in 1975. The name CX is the French equivalent abbreviation of Cd for drag coefficient in English, drawing attention to the car's aerodynamic styling, which was uncommon in 1974.It is considered by some enthusiasts as the last "real Citron" before Peugeot took control of the company in 1976. The CX was also the final successful model of the "big Citron" era, which began in 1934.This low mileage example of the highly desireable GTI Turbo 2 is described by the vendor to be in superb condition, and to have just sailed through an MOT. This vehicle was the subject of an Auto Express article in 1993 and a Classic Car Weekly 'Chasing Cars' article in 2007, both of which gave glowing verdicts on the car. The car comes with full history to verify the mileage of 70,000 and to show that it has only covered about 1,000 miles in the last 10 years. As the last Classic Car Weekly article states, this is probably the best original example left on the road today.

Daimler Sovereign Daimler Sovereign

Daimler Sovereign

Lot #110 (Sale Order 10 of 71)

In late 1979, the Jaguar XJ range was facelifted, and re-named as the XJ Series III. Using the long-wheelbase version of the car, the XJ incorporated a subtle redesign by Pininfarina. Externally, the most obvious changes over the SII were the thicker and more incorporated rubber bumpers with decorative chrome only on the top edge, flush door handles for increased safety, a one-piece front door glass without a separate 1/4 light, a grille with only vertical vanes, reverse lights moved from the boot plinth to the larger rear light clusters and a revised roofline with narrower door frames and increased glass area. There were three engine variants, including the 5.3 lt V12, the 4.2 lt straight-six and 3.4 L straight-six. The larger six-cylinder, and V12 models incorporated Bosch fuel injection which was made under licence by Lucas. 132,952 Series III cars were built, 10,500 with the V12 engine. This Daimler Sovereign is said by the vendor to be in great condition, both inside and out. The car has Full Service History, which supports the low mileage. The Daimler has all the extras of the the XJ range, including Alloy Wheels and Power Steering. Whilst you enjoy driving this wonderful example, a car of this specification and condition can only appreciate in the future.

Mercedes 350SL Manual

Lot #111 (Sale Order 11 of 71)

The Mercedes 107SL was introduced in 1971 and continued along the same basic design principals as the 113 Pagoda, but was a little bigger and wider than the Pagoda. The disappearing hood mechanism, with the removable hard-top, remained and the engine options now included the 3.5 litre V8, which powered the new saloon range. The 107SL was a hugely successful model, which remained in production for 18 years, largely unchanged. Engine options expanded to include a 2.8 and in 1986 a 3.0 straight six and V8's, which expanded to 5.6 litre by the end of the production run in 1989, when it was replaced by the new 129SL.This early example 350SL, and is fitted with a four speed manual gearbox. It was recently imported from France has a Nova and is ready for UK registration. Jaguar S-Type Jaguar S-Type

Jaguar S-Type

Lot #112 (Sale Order 12 of 71)

The Jaguar S-type 3.8 litre appeared alongside the 3.4 version at the cars launch in 1963. The new S-type owed much to its MKII stable-mates as well as the much larger MKX of the same period. The S-type was aimed at Jaguar drivers looking for slightly more sophistication than was offered by the MKII and the cars independent rear suspension and different styling cues highlighted the luxury side of the cars character and played down the sporty image of the MKII.The 3.8 version of the S-type provided sparkling performance and could reach a maximum of 125mph. The S-type used a modified Mk II bodyshell, which had unique front and rear styling and included a sumptuous interior. Production of the S-type ceased in 1968 when its replacement, the 420, arrived. The Jaguar S-Type Manual 3.4 offered here is described as a restoration project. It is the desirable Overdrive version, with only two owners from new, and comes with log books and history. The interior is original in light blue leather with matching door cards. Stored for many years when it was driven into the garage, and it is ready for the enthusiast to restore. The vendor is hoping to get the car running before the auction. The engine and gearbox are the originals.

Ford Cortina Mk2 Ford Cortina Mk2

Ford Cortina Mk2

Lot #113 (Sale Order 13 of 71)

The second incarnation of the Cortina was designed by Roy Haynes, and launched on 18 October 1966, four years after the original Cortina. Although the launch was accompanied by the slogan "New Cortina is more Cortina", the car, at 168 in long, was fractionally shorter than before. Its 2 1?2 inches of extra width and curved side panels provided more interior space. Other improvements included a smaller turning circle, softer suspension, self-adjusting brakes and clutch together with the availability on the smaller-engined models, for the UK and some other markets, of a new five bearing 1,300 cc engine. In August, the 1,300 received a new crossflow cylinder head design, making it more efficient, while a crossflow 1,600 replaced the 1,500. The Cortina Lotus continued with its own unique engine, although for this generation it was built in-house by Ford themselves. The Cortina was Britain's most popular new car in 1967, a goal that Ford had been trying to achieve since it set out to create the original Cortina back in 1962. For 1969, the Mark II range was given subtle revisions, with separate "FORD" block letters mounted on the bonnet and boot lids, a blacked out grille and chrome strips on top and below the taillights running the full width of the tail panel marking them out.The vendor says that this very desirable Mk2 Cortina is in very good condition,. The body is straight, does not appear to have any rust, it runs well and the interior, including the lovely bench seat, is very original. The chrome is all very good, the original wheels are in very good condition, this is a starting point for a very good car.

BMW 840 CI Sports Auto BMW 840 CI Sports Auto

BMW 840 CI Sports Auto

Lot #114 (Sale Order 14 of 71)

Design of the 8 Series began in 1984, and debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1989. The 8 Series was designed to move beyond the market of the original 6 Series. The 8 Series had substantially improved performance, however, as well as a far higher purchase price. The 8 Series offered the first V-12 engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox on a road car. It was the first car to feature CAN bus, a form of multiplex wiring for cars that is now an industry standard. It was also one of the first vehicles to be fitted with an electronic drive-by-wire throttle. The 8 Series was one of BMW's first cars, together with the Z1, to use a multi-link rear axle.Sales of the 8 Series were affected by the economic problems of the early 1990s, and BMW dropped the 8 Series from the North American market in 1997, having sold just 7,232 cars in seven years, but continued in Europe until 1999. Total production amounted to 31,062 cars. Our vendor tells us that he believes that the car has had only 3 owners, and his family ownership stretches back 6 years. The car is said to be in very good condition, and has a full history with it. The car has only done about 5,000 miles in the last 7 years, and has been in storage for the last three years. It has however been maintained and MOTd during this time. The car has recently been clay bar cleaned, and is fitted with a tracker. BMW 8 Series are now becoming very desirable, this car represents excellent value for money.

Fiat 500 Giardiniera Estate

Lot #115 (Sale Order 15 of 71)

The 500 Giardiniera (500 K on some markets) estate version of the Fiat 500 is the longest running model. The engine is laid under the floor of the boot to create a flat loading surface. The roof on this model also stretches all the way to the rear, not stopping above the driver and front passenger as it does in other models of the same period. The Giardiniera also features "suicide doors" and was the only model to continue to use this door type into the 1970s. In 1966 production was transferred to Desio where the Giardiniera was built by Fiat subsidiary Autobianchi. A total of 327,000 Giardinieras were produced, later examples having Autobianchi rather than Fiat badging. The example offered here is described by the vendor to be in fabulous condition throughout Left Hand Drive but UK registered having been imported from Southern Italy in early 2015. Stunning in every respect it is quite simply a turn the key and enjoy car with no expense for the foreseeable future. Round speedo, full length sunroof, suicide doors. original jack and tool kit. Showing 70,000 kilometres (44000 miles) we are unable to warrant but given the cars overall condition and the way the car runs see no reason to disbelieve.

BMW 2002

Lot #121 (Sale Order 21 of 71)

Helmut Werner Bnsch, BMW's director of product planning, and Alex von Falkenhausen, designer of the M10 engine, each had a two litre engine installed in a 1600-2 for their respective personal use. When they realized they had both made the same modification to their own cars, they prepared a joint proposal to BMW's board to manufacture a two litre version of the 1600-2.At the same time, American importer Max Hoffman was asking BMW for a sporting version of the 02 series that could be sold in the United States. As per the larger coupe and 4-door sedan models, the 2.0 engine was sold in two states of tune: the base single-carburetor 2002 producing 101 bhp and the dual-carburetor high compression 2002 ti producing 119 bhp. The 2002 Automatic, with the base engine and a ZF 3HP12 3 speed automatic transmission, became available in 1969.This 1971 BMW 2002 auto round light version is described by the vendor as a very reliable classic that starts and runs very well. The Interior is said to be very nice for its age. The car is showing 73,000 miles, which is believed by the vendor to be correct. The webasto sunroof is a bit worn but does not leak, and there is a minor scrape on the lower rear wing. This is a good, useable classic.

Ferrari 308 GTS Ferrari 308 GTS

Ferrari 308 GTS

Lot #123 (Sale Order 23 of 71)

The Ferrari 308 GTB Berlinetta and Targa topped 308 GTS are V8 mid-engined, 2-seater sports cars manufactured from 1975 to 1985, and replaced the Dino 246 GT and GTS in 1975.The 308 had a tube frame with separate body. The engine was a V8 of a 90 degree configuration, with belt-driven twin overhead camshafts per cylinder bank. It was transversely mounted in unit with the trans-axle transmission assembly, which was below and to the rear of the engine's sump. All models used a fully synchromesh 5-speed manual and a clutch-type limited slip differential. Suspension was all-independent, comprising double wishbones, coaxial coil springs and hydraulic dampers, and anti-roll bars on both axles; four wheel vented disc brakes were also fitted. Steering was unassisted rack and pinion. The 308's body was designed by Pininfarina's Leonardo Fioravanti, who had been responsible for some of Ferrari's most celebrated shapes to date such as the Daytona, the Dino and the Berlinetta Boxer. The 308 used elements of these shapes to create something very much in contrast with the angular GT4. GTS models featured a removable roof panel with grained satin black finish, which could be stowed in a vinyl cover behind the seats when not in use.Built in 1979, this 308 GTS was delivered to its first owner by Cressman/Baumgarten Ferrari, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in April 1980. It was then imported from Savannah, Georgia in 2014. This Ferrari 308GTS is the more desirable carburettor model and is described by the vendor as presented beautifully in its original colour of Rosso Corsa with black leather with red inserts and new red carpets; this is certainly the most iconic and striking of colour combinations. The Ferrari 308GTS is quite rare and the most powerful of all the models. The car has had little use since its import in 2014 but was given new timing belts and a service in January of this year which included re-commissioning the brakes and cleaning the carburettor jets. It is supplied with the US title, a NOVA which confirms the import duties have been paid, a UK MoT test certificate which expires in August 2018, the handbook and the original service booklet. With only 69,000 miles on the clock, this lefthand drive Ferrari 308 GTS is a very usable car which one can easily settle into driving. This is a great example with the right specification which will benefit as future values rise for the purity of Fioravanti's original concept. Since the service the car has developed a minor fault with the electric windows which are currently not operational.

1971 Lotus Elan Sprint Convertible Big Valve

Lot #124A (Sale Order 25 of 71)

This stunning 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint convertible with the Big Valve engine has the most comprehensive and detailed history that could ever be wished for ( three folders full) starting from when the car was in build. It is finished in yellow with black leather, mohair roof, and tonneau cover, and has covered 102,000 miles. The car was first supplied by Hexagon of Highgate to a Mr Gibson of Wetstone N20, who owned the car until December 1973, when it was sold to a Mr Pankhurst of Reigate, Surrey. He kept the car for 32 years, then custodianship passed to Mr Colin Webb, who only kept HMH 168K for two years before passing it on to his brother Robert in 2007. It is quite obvious that the car has always been maintained on a no expense spared basis. There is just too much to list, but it is fair to say that as and when anything needed to be replaced, it was carried out with the best available at the time, and with a recognised specialists. Having always changed hands between friends and family, this is the first time the car has been offered on the open market. This amazing example has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated. It comes with complete documentation from production line to date, hand books, workshop manual, service book both keys and HPI certificate showing clear past history.

International Harvestor Pickup Truck Lite

Lot #125 (Sale Order 26 of 71)

International Harvester first introduced the S-Series in 1956. Available as the IHC light-duty and medium-duty range, the predecessor R-Series remained in production. In addition, the S-Series formed the basis for its own generation of the IHC Travelall wagon, marking the introduction of a four-wheel drive option for the model. The heaviest version, the S1840, was produced with a GVWR of 24,000 lb, powered by a 308 ci "Black Diamond" petrol engine.Production of the light duty S-Series ended in 1957, when it was replaced by the A-series. The S-184 heavy version was produced by the Brazilian subsidiary of International Harvester, until its 1966 purchase by Chrysler. The example offered here is has had a full nut and bolt rebuild by the vendor that was started about 9 years ago, and took 4 years to complete. It is described as still being in superb condition today. The very rare 4 wheel drive option is also fitted on the vehicle. Being a right hand drive example and having the 4 wheel drive option make this a unique and very rare opportunity. The 4 Litre engine pulls well and the interior is in excellent condition.

Stutz Blackhawk Stutz Blackhawk

Stutz Blackhawk

Lot #126 (Sale Order 27 of 71)

In August 1968, New York banker James O'Donnell raised funds and incorporated Stutz Motor Car of America. A prototype of Exner's Stutz Blackhawk was produced by Ghia, and the car debuted in 1970. All these cars used General Motors running gear, featuring perimeter-type chassis frames, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes with discs at the front. They were lavishly furnished, with all possible luxury features such as electric windows, air conditioning, central locking, electric seats and leather upholstery. On the sedans there was typically a console for beverages in the rear seat. Engines were large V8s, originally 6.6 or 7.5L (400 or 460 ci) but by 1984 the Victoria, Blackhawk and Bearcat were using a 160-horsepower 5.7L (350 ci) unit and the Royale a 6.9L (424 ci) Oldsmobile unit developing a modest 180 horsepower.Stutz had some reasonable success selling newly designed Blackhawks, Bearcats, Royale Limousines, IV Portes, and Victorias. Elvis Presley bought the first Blackhawk in 1971, and later purchased a further three. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Evel Knievel, Barry White and Sammy Davis, Jr. all owned Stutz cars. The Stutz Blackhawk owned by Lucille Ball was for a time on display at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino Auto Collection in Las Vegas. However, owing to their extraordinary cost - Stutz was touted as the World's Most Expensive Car, a Royale limousine costing US$285,000 and a Blackhawk coup over US$115,000 in 1984, production was very limited and it is believed only 617 cars were built during the company's first 25 years of existence (1971–95). The example of this rare Stutz Blackhawk offered here is described by the vendor as driving very well and to be in very good condition all round. The car was imported by the vendor in 2012 and has only seen light use since then, covering only about 1000 miles in that time. The car is shown on this link to the Stutz Registery www.madle.org/ebh72bl.htm showing the last owner in America as Brian Lamp. This is an opportunity that should not be missed as these cars rarely come to the market.

Citroen SM Citroen SM

Citroen SM

Lot #127 (Sale Order 28 of 71)

The Citron SM is a high-performance coup produced by the French manufacturer from 1970 to 1975. The SM placed third in the 1971 European Car of the Year contest, and won the 1972 Motor Trend Car of the Year award in the U.S.In 1961, Citron began work on 'Project S' — a sports variant of the revolutionary Citron DS. As was customary for the firm, many running concept vehicles were developed, increasingly complex and upmarket from the DS. At some stage in the 9 year project, it evolved from developing a faster variant of the 1955 DS to developing an entirely new, thoroughly engineered car - in terms of engineering effort, a replacement for the high volume DS model. Citron purchased Maserati in 1968 with the intention of harnessing Maserati's high-performance engine technology to produce a true Gran Turismo car, combining the sophisticated Citron suspension with a Maserati V6.This example is presented in white with black leather interior, and is described by the vendor as being a very original example in very good condition. The car has only covered 9,000 Km in the last 30 years, having spent 15 years in a museum as part of a collection, and has been owned for the last 15 years by a dutch professor.

Jaguar XJS

Lot #129 (Sale Order 30 of 71)

The XJS was launched in 1975, and whilst the fabulous V12 engine could deliver outstanding performance, its thirst for petrol was legendary, which caused problems in the USA, where Jaguar were fined for publishing misleading figures. From the introduction of the HE engine in 1982, the 3.6 AJ6 engine in 1984, which expanded to four litres in 1989, the cabriolet in 1985, the full convertible in 1988 and the face-lift model in 1993 to the final commemorative model in 1995,the XJS was continuously developed during its 20 year production life. The Jaguar V12 XJS Coupe offered here is described by the vendor as in very good condition and to drive extremley well. With low mileage of 69,000 miles showing, which is believed correct, and the MOT, Service and SORN history appearing to confirm this. The car also comes with many old MOTs, service and repair invoices, hand book, service book, and repair manual. This car has seen little use in the last few years covering only 3,000 miles in over 15 years.

The 911 traces its roots to sketches drawn by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche in 1959. The Porsche 911 was developed as a more powerful, larger, more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356, the company's first model. The new car made its public debut at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show. This example is a 1969 Porsche 911T 2.0L Karmann Coupe LHD, presented in red with black interior. The production date of the car is 12/02/1968, it has matching engine numbers, and has been subject to a full ground up restoration. The car has been extremely well looked after and was always kept garaged in sunny California. It has 100% original factory floor metal, superb factory body gaps, original 901/16 2.0L engine with Weber carbs, and is in a rare paint colour Polo Red (code 6802).The car was completely dismantled (windows out) and taken to bare metal, the body has been hand dollied and blocked then finished with base clear paint, wet-sanded and polished. It was then re-assembled with all new rubbers and seals, and the interior redone to factory specifications. There are too many details to list of what has been done to bring the car up to the highest standard. A certificate of authenticity from Porsche providing the chassis, engine and gearbox numbers comes with the car.

Lot #131 (Sale Order 32 of 71)

The E-Type Series 3 was introduced in 1971, with a new 5.3 L twelve cylinder Jaguar V12 engine, uprated brakes and standard power steering. Options available were automatic transmission, wire wheels and air conditioning. The brand new V12 engine was originally developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was equipped with four Zenith carburettors. The final engine was claimed to produce 272 bhp, more torque, and a 0-60 mph acceleration of less than 7 seconds. The short wheelbase FHC body style was discontinued, with the Series 3 available only as a convertible and 2+2 coupe. There were 7,990 convertibles and 7,297 2+2 coupes made, with 15,287 cars in total. This car was imported to the UK from the USA in September 2016, and the present owner registered in his own name in July 2017. Unfortunately no previous history came with the car but the car seems to be in reasonable condition for its age and seems to run well. It is the ideal vehicle to use now and to improve on over the years or to use as a good base for a full restoration.

Lincoln Continental MKV

Lot #133 (Sale Order 34 of 71)

The Continental Mark V is a personal luxury coupe that was marketed by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company from the 1977 to 1979 model years in North America. Following the success of the Continental Mark IV, the Mark V was derived from the same chassis architecture (shared with the Ford Thunderbird) with an extensive update to the exterior and interior. The sharply-creased body introduced an exterior design theme used on many Lincoln vehicles throughout the 1980s.For 1980, the Continental Mark V was replaced by the Continental Mark VI. Based on the Ford Panther platform introduced for the 1979 model year, the downsized Mark VI saw significant reductions in its exterior dimensions in the interest of fuel economy. All Continental Mark Vs were assembled at the now-closed Wixom Assembly Plant in Wixom, Michigan, alongside the standard Lincoln Continental and Continental Town Car and Town Coupe. This very low mileage example is described by the vendor as in excellent condition but with a slight dent in rear bumper. The car runs like a dream and in fact is like a new car, the interior still smells like new. The engine has been rebuilt professionally as the seals had deteriorated during its long term storage and full details of this are with the cars paperwork. The mileage is said to be genuine & can be checked with the paperwork supplied with the car.

The Ferrari 328 GTB and GTS (Type F106) was the successor to the Ferrari 308 GTB and GTS. The 328 is considered by some Ferrari enthusiasts to be one of the most reliable Ferraris; unlike some models, most engine maintenance can be performed without lowering the engine from the vehicle. The GTB referred to the Gran Turismo Berlinetta (coup) body while the GTS was a Gran Turismo Spider (targa top). In 1985, the 328 retailed from 43,999.37 The 328 GTS model, together with the fixed roof 328 GTB, were the final developments of the normally aspirated transverse V8 engine 2-seater series. The new model was introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon alongside the Mondial 3.2 series.

Mercedes 300 SL

Lot #137 (Sale Order 38 of 71)

Designed in 1984, the R129 was based on the shortened floorpan of the Mercedes W124 and featured many innovative details for the time, for instance electronically controlled damping and a hidden, automatically extending roll-over bar. The R107's rather dated rear diagonal swing axle gave way to a modern multi-link axle. The number of standard features was high, with electric action for the windows, mirrors, seats and convertible top.Starting in 1993 for the 1994 model year, R129 were re-designated. For example, 500 SL became SL 500. Starting in model year 1994, Mercedes-Benz offered special SL models from time to time, such as the Mille Miglia edition cars of model year 1994 or the SL edition of model year 2000.This Mercedes rare 300SL 24v car has been in storage for many years in a private collection, and it has just had a fresh MOT. The fortunes of Mercedes’ Nineties R129 SL are starting to turn, they’re holding their value better and their chiselled angularity is beginning to look Classic rather than just older, a great future investment.

Mini Cooper S Mini Cooper S

Mini Cooper S

Lot #138 (Sale Order 39 of 71)

John Cooper, owner of the Cooper Car Company saw the potential of the Mini for competition. Issigonis was initially reluctant to see the Mini in the role of a performance car, but after John Cooper appealed to BMC management, the two men collaborated to create the Mini Cooper. The Austin Mini Cooper and Morris Mini Cooper debuted in September 1961. The Mini Cooper S, was developed and released in 1963. Featuring a 1071 cc engine with a 70.61 mm bore and nitrided steel crankshaft and strengthened bottom end. 4,030 Cooper S cars were produced and sold until the model was updated in August 1964. Cooper also produced two S models specifically for circuit racing in the under 1,000 cc and under 1,300 cc classes respectively, rated at 970 cc and a 1,275 cc, both had a 70.61 mm bore and both were also offered to the public. The smaller-engine model was not well received, and only 963 had been built when the model was discontinued in 1965. The 1,275 cc Cooper S models continued in production until 1971. This example was purchased by Flight Lieutenant Bernard Hughes (an ex Wellington Bomber Pilot) in 1971. Wood and Pickett supplied a new black interior with reclining seats during the same year. He used the car up until 1990, when due to poor health he stopped using it. In 2003 he reluctantly sold it to his local garage on the basis he could overview it being restored back to its original glory. This car has receipts for in excess of £10,000 spent refurbishing it including: a new Subframe, Wheels, Tyres, Heater Matrix, Starter Motor, Brake Master Cylinder, Stainless Steel Exhaust, Brake Calipers and Discs, Clutch, Battery and Radiator. In addition, as part of the restoration, the car has had a replacement shell and a complete respray in the original Teal Blue (with a Snowberry White Roof). Gaydon Motor Museum have supplied a heritage certificate showing confirmation of manufacture of this vehicle. Since the renovation the current owner has displayed the car at the Spa Classic and Goodwood Revival in 2017. The car drives as well as it looks, and is one of the very last "proper" Cooper S cars built.

Morris Minor

Lot #139 (Sale Order 40 of 71)

The Morris Minor was introduced at the Earls Court Motor Show, on 20 September 1948. Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis, more than 1.3 million were manufactured between 1948 and 1972 in three series. Initially available as a two-door saloon and convertible, the range was expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950, a wood-framed estate, the Traveller, from Oct.1953 and panel van and pick-up truck variants from May 1953. The car updated in 1956 when the engine was increased in capacity to 948 cc. The two-piece split windscreen was replaced with a one piece one and the rear window was enlarged. In 1961 the semaphore-style trafficators were replaced by the flashing direction indicators, these were US-style red at the rear, using the same bulb filament as the brake lamp, and white at the front. The genuine convertible example offered here is described by the vendor as a fabulous car to drive with no known faults. It was fully restored during 2016 and has a MOT until May 2018 with no advisories. There are many receipts for work and parts, including a brand new mohair hood. The car features some subtle period upgrades to increase performance, handling and braking.

Porsche 911 4S

Lot #141 (Sale Order 42 of 71)

The water-cooled Type 996 was introduced in 1997. This was also the first major re-design to the body shell and the first water cooled 911. The 996 styling shared its front end with Porsche's Boxster, and the 996 spawned over a dozen variations, including all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S models, the club racing-oriented GT3, and the forced-induction 996 Turbo and GT2. The Carrera and Carrera 4 underwent revisions for model year 2002, receiving clear lens front and rear indicator lights which were first seen on the Turbo version two years earlier, and a mildly revised front fascia was also introduced. The example offered here is the rarer factory wide body 3.6 '4S' coupe with manual paddle shift or auto drive. The car has recently passed it an MOT and has been fitted with a new battery. The vendor states that the car has genuine low mileage with MOT history and drives as a Porsche 911 should. The car looks great in black, and must be a great investment and value for money. HPI shows Cat C damage repairable.

Mercedes E220

Lot #142 (Sale Order 43 of 71)

The E-Class name first appeared in with the face-lifted W124 in 1993. The diesel versions continued to be the fuel economy option over the four and six-cylinder and V8 petrol engines. In 1992, Mercedes increased petrol engine power outputs further. The V8 powered saloons were named and E 420/E 500 after 1993. Likewise, the 3.0-litre cars, for example 300 E. The W124 is built on a mid-sized vehicle platform. Due to the high cost of German engineering and build quality, the W124 was designed to last many miles, with awards actually given and worn by high mileage versions. The vendor tells us that this car has had 2 former keepers with the last owner having the car for 21 years. It has lots of receipts for past work and Services and old MOTs. The car has just had a fresh 12 months MOT. A substantial 3,200 overhaul was carried out January 2016 including a Service.

Jaguar 420

Lot #143 (Sale Order 44 of 71)

The 420/Sovereign traces its origins back to the Jaguar Mark 2, which was introduced in 1959 and sold through most of the 1960s. Jaguar thought that a similar sized car with high standards of technical sophistication and luxury would be successful. Demands for more luxurious features would add weight to any future models, forcing the drive towards a 4.2-litre-engined compact saloon. A combination of the 4.2-litre engine with the compact saloon body was expected to have market appeal.Consequently, Sir William initiated development of a new saloon based on the S-Type, retaining its 54-inch independent rear suspension but adding a twin-carburettor version of the 4.2-litre powerplant and frontal styling more akin to that of the Mark X. The new car was released in August 1966 in the form of two badge-engineered models, the Jaguar 420 and the Daimler Sovereign.Jaguar 420s are starting to be appreciated as a good alternative to Mk2 Jaguars, and at a fraction of the price. This particular car is used on a daily basis by the vendor, and he says that it is in good condition and very reliable.Jaguar 420 1967 with FSH in Cream. Full leather Interior in very good conditon with no rips, and all the wood inside is in good condition, and all instruments work as should. The vendor would give it a 8 out of 10 for the interior. The body need a little love as it spent 16 years half in and half out of a garage. The car drives very well no with problems at all. The vendor has all the old MOTs and tax discs and an extensive repair history.

BMW 850

Lot #147 (Sale Order 48 of 71)

Our vendor tells us this rare BMW 850 Coupe in Red Metallic, has Full Black Leather interior, and an electric sunroof. It is said to have covered only 48,000 miles from new, and has a Comprehensive Service History. The car has been in a private collection for many years.

Porsche 928 S4

Lot #148 (Sale Order 49 of 71)

The Porsche 928 was a luxurious grand tourer produced by Porsche from 1978 to 1995. Originally intended to replace the company's well-known and famed 911, the 928 combined the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxurious saloon to create what some Porsche executives thought would be a vehicle with wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911.Since its inception in 1949, Porsche has manufactured only seven front-engined models, four of which were coups, including the 928. The car has the distinction of being the company's only coup powered by a front-mounted V8 engine, and the company's first production V8 powered model. The vendor states that this car has had a recent MOT, and has lots of bills and history. The engine and gearbox are all good, and the car is said to drive very well, however the paintwork requires attention. The Porsche 928 is a fast appreciating model, and this 928 S4 is very usable and very sensibly priced in today's market.

With the introduction of the X308 in 1997, came a name change to XJ8, as the cars were powered by a new V8 engine. The exterior styling was similar to the previous model, with minor refinements. The interior was updated to eliminate the instrument binnacle used on the X300, instead, three large gauges were set into recesses in the walnut-faced dashboard. The major mechanical change was the replacement of both of the old engines with new eight-cylinder AJ V8, in either 3.2 L or 4.0 L versions, with the 4.0 L also available in supercharged form in the XJR. All X308 models were supplied with a five or six speed automatic gearbox. The vendor states that this car has had one keeper from new. It also has done only 76,000 miles, supported by by its service history, repair bills and old MOTs, with the last service being performed at 75,701 miles. 36,000 if you'd bought it new, and with electric seats, electric windows, full leather and air conditioning, it has to be a bargain at this money.

Lot #151 (Sale Order 52 of 71)

The Maserati Bi-Turbo was produced by Maserati between 1981 and 1994. The original Bi-Turbo was a two-door, four-seater notchback coup, featuring, as the name implies, a two-litre V6 engine with two turbochargers and a luxurious interior. In 1988, with the Coups being restyled, the Bi-Turbo name was dropped in favour of 222, meaning 2-door, 2-litre engine and 2nd generation. The car carried all the visual clues of Gandini's first face-lift, with a more rounded grille and bonnet, different wing mirrors and rear spoiler. The engine size of the 222 E export model grew from the Bi-Turbo's 2.5- to 2.8-litres. A mixed velour-leather interior was standard on the domestic models, while export markets got leather upholstery as standard. This 1991 Maserati 2.8 Bi-Turbo Spyder originally supplied by Meridian Modena in the New Forest. Finished in original Swan White with Blue interior. This very good example is supplied with original handbooks in a leather wallet, and Set of Service Manual. The ultimate 'wolf in sheep's clothing', the XJR differed externally from its normally aspirated siblings minimally - a mesh radiator grill, 18" alloys and a badge on the boot being about the only clues. But on the road, the 370bhp created by supercharging the AJ-V8 engine meant blistering performance which belied its conservative looks. This example is finished in Pacific Blue with Ivory Leather and sits on recently refurbished 18" BBS split rim alloy wheels. The odometer shows 51,600 miles, but there is an entry in the service book for a speedometer change at 26,051 miles, bringing the total mileage covered to 77,600. The car is described by the vendor to be in excellent overall condition for its age and the service record shows 13 stamps, predominantly by Jaguar dealers, and much supporting invoicing. The current MOT is advisory free and the history file shows many historic tickets. The headlining has recently been replaced and the 18" Alloys are shod with the correct Pirelli tyres, all carrying good tread. The car is presented with spare keys, a full bookpack and even its original Jaguar overmats, and surely represents very good value GT motoring.

Volkswagen Phaeton 3.0 V6 Tdi Volkswagen Phaeton 3.0 V6 Tdi

Volkswagen Phaeton 3.0 V6 Tdi

Lot #159 (Sale Order 60 of 71)

The Phaeton was conceived by Ferdinand Pich, then chairman of Volkswagen Group. Pich wanted Volkswagen engineers to create a car that would surpass the German prestige market leaders, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The decision to release the Phaeton was, in part, a response to Mercedes' decision to compete directly with Volkswagen in the European marketplace with the low cost A-Class. It was also intended to support the Volkswagen brand image. Although the Volkswagen group already has a direct competitor in the full sized luxury segment, the Audi A8, the Phaeton was intended to be more of a comfort oriented limousine, like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Lexus LS, while the Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series are more sport oriented. The example offered here is described by the vendor as driving beautifully with effortless, smooth performance. Genuine low mileage with full service history and a new MOT. These cars were assembled in the factory alongside the Bentley GT and Spur, hence the dash wood and several components are Bentley. These car are tremendous value for money.

Porsche Cayenne S 4.5 V8 Manual

Lot #160 (Sale Order 61 of 71)

The Porsche Cayenne is a luxury SUV introduced in 2002. Its platform was developed by Porsche and is shared with the Volkswagen Touareg. The second-generation Cayenne was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March. Although the Cayenne shares its platform, body frame and doors with the similar Volkswagen Touareg, all other aspects of vehicle design, tuning and production are done in-house at Porsche. The Porsche Cayenne offered here is a very rare V8 Manual example, which is described by the vendor as being excellent throughout, driving very well, smooth, quick and surprisingly economical. Land Rover Range Rover Vogue SE A Classic

Lot #161 (Sale Order 62 of 71)

The first-generation Range Rover was produced between 1970 and 1996. It was available only in a 2-door body until 1981. The Range Rover was a body-on-frame design with a box section ladder type chassis, like the contemporary Series Land Rovers. The Range Rover utilised coil springs as opposed to leaf springs, permanent four-wheel drive, and four-wheel disc brakes. Originally, the Range Rover was fitted with a detuned 130 hp Rover V8 engine. This Range Rover Vogue is described by the vendor as needing restoration and recommissioning. The vehicle is currently on SORN and has not been used for the last few years but was previously used for shooting on the vendors estate. The vehicle has not been on the road for many years and has no MOT history for this reason. Described as running very well but the brakes are poor and in need of attention. Interior is in good condition considering its use. The vendor has owned the vehicle since 1996 and has only two former keepers.

BMW Z3 BMW Z3

BMW Z3

Lot #162 (Sale Order 63 of 71)

The BMW Z3 is BMW's first mass-produced roadster, and was the first new BMW model to be manufactured in the United States. E36/7 refers to the roadster variant of the Z3 which was introduced in 1995, and E36/8 refers to the coupe variant of the Z3 which was released in 1999. The BMW Z3 was introduced by BMW North America on June 12, 1995 and made a short appearance in the James Bond film Golden Eye on November 17, 1995. In the 1996 production run, more than 15,000 roadsters were sold out by the time the car was introduced. A facelift for the car was introduced in 2000, and the Z3 ended production in 2002 when it was replaced by the BMW Z4.The vendor states that this amazing looking and driving, rare bright white, example of a Z3, is in fantastic condition throughout for the age and mileage. It is a really rare example fitted with air conditioning, one touch windows and other enhancements not normally on this year, it may have been imported as a new car in 1999.The car has a nearly new MOT, a file of service history, receipts and old MOTs dating back to 2003. Everything is said to be working and functioning correctly, roof, windows, mirrors etc. These roadsters are becoming very collectable, and this one is an excellent example of the genre.

Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 Cabriolet Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 Cabriolet

Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 Cabriolet

Lot #163 (Sale Order 64 of 71)

A new front-wheel drive Cavalier was introduced on 26 August 1981, this time using the same underpinnings as the Opel Ascona C. On its launch, it offered class-leading levels of fuel economy and performance which had previously been unseen in this size of car. Sales began the following month. The new Cavalier was a huge success and challenged the supremacy of the Ford Cortina as the company car of choice. Indeed, it went on sale only a year before the Cortina was discontinued. Cavalier sales topped 100,000 in 1982, compared to less than 40,000 the previous model in 1981.This is a very rare surviving Vauxhall Cavalier Convertible. In remarkably good condition, including the hood, this car only needs very minor work to make it into a superb car. Low mileage for the year, and just had a new cam belt.

Lot #164 (Sale Order 65 of 71)

At the 2004 Salon International de l'Auto, Mini introduced a convertible model which was released in the 2005 model year and available in One, Cooper and Cooper S trim versions. The convertible roof is fully automatic, an unusual feature in such a small car, and can be opened partially to act as a sunroof whilst the car is driving at speed. The convertible model forsakes the rear hatchback of the Hardtop Mini, replacing it with a drop down 'tailgate' that is reminiscent of the classic Mini. This example is a Mini One 1.6 Sidewalk electric Convertible edition. It is presented in black metallic with full leather and black soft top. The car comes with service history, and has had a large service in January 2017 and another in October 2017 in preparation for sale. The vendor states that the car drives superbly and is in very good condition.

Mercedes SL 300 Convertible Mercedes SL 300 Convertible

Mercedes SL 300 Convertible

Lot #165 (Sale Order 66 of 71)

In Europe the base R129 model was the 190 hp 3.0 L inline 6 300SL with 12 valves. The 228 hp 3.0 L inline 6 with 24 valves is known as the 300SL 24 . But it was the 322 hp 500SL , with a 5.0 L V8 engine, which made the most headlines. The specification was high, with electric windows, mirrors, seats and roof. The R129 model was the first convertible/roadster to offer the automatic rollbar deployment in event of rollover. The motorist can also manually raise and lower the rollbar should he choose to. This facilitates the clean look of R129 without compromising the occupant's safety. The 1991 Mercedes SL 300 Sports convertible offered here is described by the vendor as starting and driving with no overheating issues and gears changing as the should. The car comes with hard and soft tops, service book with some stamped history, light grey leather upholstery with matching door cards.

Ford Escort RS 2000 Ford Escort RS 2000

Ford Escort RS 2000

Lot #166 (Sale Order 67 of 71)

The Ford Escort was revised in January 1995, although it was still based on the previous model. This version had new front lights, bonnet, front wings, front and rear bumpers, wing mirrors, door handles and 4 different front radiator grilles. At the rear, the Ford logo moved from the right to the centre of the boot, except for the van and convertible models. The interior of the car was hugely revised too following heavy criticism of the original 1990 car which featured low quality plastics for its interior mouldings - the car now featured an all new dashboard arrangement of competitive quality. However, the underlying car was now five years old and most of its rivals were either new or to be imminently replaced. The RS2000 models ceased production in June 1996, and were the last Escorts ever to wear the famous RS badge. And the RS badge did not resurface until the Focus RS arrived in 2002.Our vendor says that this unusual RS 2000 has been well looked after during its life. The body is good, as is the interior, and the mechanicals are also said to be sound. Its is thought that the mileage shown is correct, backed up by the MOT history, and other documents. Finished in British Racing Green, it is a car for the future especially with the magic RS name.

Ford Mustang Ford Mustang

Ford Mustang

Lot #167 (Sale Order 68 of 71)

In November 1993, the Mustang debuted its first major redesign in fifteen years. The new styling by Patrick Schiavone incorporated several styling cues from earlier Mustangs. For the first time since 1974, a notchback coupe model was unavailable. The base model came with a 3.8 OHV V6 engine rated at 150 bhp, and was mated to a standard 5-speed manual transmission or optional 4-speed automatic. Ford retired the 302 cid pushrod small-block V8 after nearly 30 years of use, replacing it with the newer Modular 4.6 L SOHC V8 in the 1996 Mustang GT. The 4.6 L V8 was initially rated at 215 bhp, but was later increased to 225 bhp in 1998.For 1999, the Mustang was re-skinned with Ford's New Edge styling theme with sharper contours, larger wheel arches, and creases in its bodywork, but its basic proportions, interior design, and chassis remained the same as the previous model.A 6 cylinder car, needing re-commissioning.

Jaguar 3.4 S Type Manual Overdrive Jaguar 3.4 S Type Manual Overdrive

Jaguar 3.4 S Type Manual Overdrive

Lot #168 (Sale Order 69 of 71)

The Jaguar S-type 3.8 litre appeared alongside the 3.4 version at the cars launch in 1963. The new S-type owed much to its MK II stable-mates as well as the much larger MK X of the same period. The S-type was aimed at Jaguar drivers looking for slightly more sophistication than was offered by the MK II and the cars independent rear suspension and different styling cues highlighted the luxury side of the cars character and played down the sporty image of the MK II.The 3.4 Manual example offered here is described by the vendor as a un-restored car that was in daily use from a gentleman in Bristol. He has now passed away. The vendor collected and drove the car back from Bristol and she preformed well with good oil pressure both tanks working and overdrive all good. She drives extremely well. Apparently Bristol Jaguars rebuilt the engine and fitted a new clutch and bushes some time ago but there is no paperwork to confirm. An un-restored Jaguar that you can get in and drive and restore as you go.

Porsche 968 Manual Porsche 968 Manual

Porsche 968 Manual

Lot #170 (Sale Order 71 of 71)

The Porsche 968 is essentially the successor to the 944, with a classic GT layout of front engine and rear wheel drive, and almost perfect weight distribution. The engine is a sophisticated version of the 3-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve unit it is all-alloy, with Vario-Cam for maximum power throughout its speed range. Rated at 240 bhp at 6200 rpm, and at the time of its production had the highest displacement per cylinder of any car engine and the highest torque output of any unblown 3-litre. Porsche spent a lot of time and money in the development of this engine, and it definitely shows. The car has all-round independent suspension, using McPherson struts at the front end and semi-trailing aluminium arms at the rear with torsion-bar springs and separate dampers. This, in combination with the perfectly-balanced weight distribution, leads to magnificent handling. The vendor tells us that this Porsche 968 6-speed manual car is a great runner, is totally original, and it has the optional 17" Cup alloys. It has an upgraded stereo/CD, and is MOT'd until April 2018. No advisories. Electric hood works well, and there is a Thatcham approved alarm fitted. Last owner had the car for 8 years, a great future investment.
