Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, fringe-curled upper lashes, grey eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with coral lower lip having two accent dots, brunette mohair bobbed wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Very good condition, some fading and very slight dustiness. Lenci, circa 1930, series 300 from the sports group, the little pouty faced boy depicts a golfer, wearing original checkered pants, knit leggings, imaginative felt tunic with applique design, green felt golfer's cap, leather shoes, and carrying wooden golf club with leather wrapped handle.

9"l. 5"h. dolls. Standing upon a platform are three bisque headed dolls with sculpted short hair and painted facial features, block torso, loosely attached legs, wooden hands. Each is nicely costumed in the country manner, and is holding a wooden mandolin. A bellows, hidden inside the base, causes the dolls to dance about when squeezed, and music plays. The more vigorous the bellow is squeezed, the faster and merrier the music. Germany, circa 1890. Excellent condition. A delightful musical toy enhanced by wonderful faces.

Bisque head with flanged neck, blue glass eyes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, painted facial features, wire upper arms, spring-coil upper legs, wooden arms and legs, painted black flat shoes with gilt edging. The jester has a bellows in his stomach which, when squeezed, causes his eyes to rapidly blink open and close and his arms to clap the cymbals. He is wearing factory original costume. Germany, circa 1890, attributed to Zinner and Sohne.

"Standing upon a wooden platform with velvet cover is a bisque-headed lady with blue glass eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, brunette human hair, elongated slender carton torso and legs, bisque forearms. The doll wears original Alsatian costume and, when wound, holds a silk tray of roses which she appears to offer to passers-by, alternately lifting a posy of roses, and then lifting the cone of flowers to reveal a hidden all-bisque doll. The doll has original key LB and has original paper tune label listing two tunes. French, Leopold Lambert, circa 1900.

Solid domed papier-mache head depicting a laughing child, painted facial features, blue intaglio eyes, closed mouth with painted teeth, dimples, blonde mohair curl under lace-ruffled cap, carton torso containing a clockwork mechanism, hinge-jointed papier-mache arms and bare feet, original costume. Generally excellent. The model was patented by Robert Clay of The Automatic Toy Works in 1871 under the unusual title "The Creeping Doll"; when wound, the doll "crawls" forward in an amusing and realistic manner.

The doll is in near mint condition, with original coiffure, and elaborate factory original costume, with original gold paper "Jumeau" tag which is pencil lettered on the reverse "Marquise de Sevigne, Femme celebre siecle de Louis XIV, Epoque 1660" indicating the famous French lady which the doll is designed to portray.
