Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Tlatilco. Finely detailed Tlatilco woman and torso, white slip with cinnabar and black painted details. She has incised black hair with a cinnabar headband, impressed pierced eyes, triangular nose and narrow slit mouth. Size 4 3/4"H x 2 1/2" W, 6" H on included custom stand. Condition: Well preserved section of a larger standing female figure.. Provenance: ex-Dr. J. Hilsabeck collection, Orange County, California, USA collection. Collected in the 1960-1980's. ex-Private California collector, Authenticity Guaranteed by Scollard Auctions.
