WWII USAAF WEATHER SERVICE PILOT NAMED GROUPING
WWII US Army Air Forces Air Weather Service Pilot Named Uniform & Insignia Grouping. Named to Colonel Frank K. Badger of the 19th Weather Squadron. (1) Officer's Winter Service Uniform. OD Dark Elastique Officer's Service Coat with Captain's rank bars, USAAF Weather Service DUI pins, AAF officer collar badges, and AAF shoulder patch. Bullion overseas bars and mohair bands on the cuffs. Army regulation tag on the interior. Pair of OD green fine wool trousers. Garrison cap with black and gold thread piping and AAF officer's cap badge. (1) Officer's Summer Service Uniform. Khaki cotton Summer Service Tunic. Colonel rank insignia, AAF officer's collar badges, ribbon bars and Meritorious Unit Commendation on the breast, overseas bars and mohair bands on the cuffs. Army regulation tag on the interior. Pair of khaki cotton trousers. Khaki cotton long sleeve shirt. (1) Private purchase leather flight jacket. Plaid cloth lining. No visible tags or stamps on the interior. Fully functional zipper by Talon. (1) Fully completed Middle Eastern Flight Forecast log. Named to Badger. Dated September 7th, 1945. (1) Riker mount Insignia display. Includes CBI sweet heart bracelet named to Badger, bullion and fully embroidered Middle East Forces Command patches, personalized wind-proof lighter, 1780 Maria Theresa thaler coin with personalized etching: "US Army Air Corps, X Mas 1944, Aden, Arabia" on the back, rank insignia, pistol qualification badge, bullion overseas bars, and more.

Condition: Very good to good. Summer service tunic has moderate stains, leather flight jacket has tears on the cuffs. One Colonel bird is missing on the summer tunic. Light finish wear on the insignia.
