Cival War Era Model 1840 Musicians Dress Sword. Sword was manufactured by W. Walschel in Solingen and features a single edged fullered blade, brass D guard, and wire wrapped handle. Sword is in nice aged condition with a dark metal blade with scattered pitting, and wear on the handle from age and handling. Blade length of 28in and overall length of 34-1/4in.
