Item Description: Translate description
A fine custom knife sole authorship by Jim Ence circa 1991. Having a  Damascus steel 11-9/16" multibar blade with gold plate carved fittings and jade inlay.  The gold plated jade handle and sheath with foliate decoration. Blade with maker's mark, overall length 16.5".  Overall very good condition. 

Provenance:
This art dagger named "Starburst Dagger" was made by Jim Ence for the 1991 knife maker's guild show. It won the best art knife at the guild show and was featured on the cover of "Knives Illustrated" magazine Spring 1992.
