Featured in this lot is a folk art carved wooden Sioux Indian, circa 1965. The folk art carving has a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden construction that shows a mounting plank with a Sioux Indian on horseback while the horse smells a buffalo skull on it. The mounting plank is marked on the back as follows: 4-22-65 - USA. The condition of this mounted hand carving is fair with the right side hand showing a chip out of it and some slight fading to paint of the carving, but otherwise it shows a fair overall condition. The measurements of this carving are 7 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 8 3/4". The collective weight of this carving is 8oz.*
