Hot Rod, 1927 T-Bucket. For decades, trailing back to the 1950s, the T-Bucket has been the quintessential American Hot Rod. Customized in every way imaginable, over those decades the T-Bucket made its way to the covers of Hot Rod, Car Craft, Car Speed & Style and many others. It made its way on Television too. 77 Sunset Strip was a Private Detective show launched in 1958. Edd "Kookie" Byrnes was in the second episode and the pilot of the '22 T-Bucket that was in many of the future episodes. Kookie's T-Bucket was powered by a souped up '52 Caddy engine with a 3-71 GMC blower on top. The show and his Hot Rod launched the T-Bucket movement. It lives on today! In 2018 that T-Bucket sold at auction for $484,000. Today, if you like fast, if you like that look, you will love this T-Bucket. Built in Arkansas, this car has all the DNA, charm, beauty and style of the lines and legacy of the builders who lead the way. The builder who created this beauty died shortly after he finished it. One of his friends sold it for his family. He said he was told more than $50,000 was put in the car. He also said it's a "Spirit" frame and body and has a 383 Stroker motor with dual quads with hi-rise aluminum intake. Along with 4 link suspension Mickey Thompson's, it has chrome everything. The car also comes with the upper windshield and top. This is a street legal rocket ship! Runs and drives beautifully. Titled as 2005 Sport. VIN# 1S9ST181252514020. Odometer shows 1,770 miles.
