William S. Phillips iconic print "The Beginning of the End" autographed by the five Enola Gay crew members who were still alive at the time of the production of this print in 1998. The autographs include Command Pilot Paul W. Tibbets; Bombardier Thomas W. Ferebee; Navigator Theodore J. "Dutch" Van Kirk; Bomb Electronics Officer Morris R. Jeppson; and Radio Operator Richard H. Nelson. The print features the Enola Gay returning from it historic mission over Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The island of Iwo Jima is visible in the distance. The print is numbered 257 out of a limited edition of 1000. The certificate of authenticity is affixed to the back. Professionally framed in a 28" x 32" frame that is ready to be displayed. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Monday, April 29th from 11 am to 3 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
